Date night

2725 Words
Date night was in a few hours, and I was so excited! I had just gotten back from working at the clinic. I couldn’t help my excitement for tonight! All day I was just thinking about seeing him again. I opened my cottages door, and I walked inside. Shadow greeted me with a few purrs, which made me smile. I petted her, and I went inside, locking up the door behind me. “What are we going to wear tonight?” I hum, looking through my wardrobe. I didn’t really have any fancy or pretty clothes which made me sigh. “It’s okay. We will make something work, right?” I look down at Shadow who yawns and jumps on the bed. I take out a cute white dress that I had stored away, and a white lace underwear set, and I put it down on the bed. I had a pair of white high heeled boots to go with the set. I turned the shower on, and I climbed inside, setting the temperature. Once I was finished, I climbed out of the shower, drying myself off. I blow-dried my hair, brushing it out as I did so. I applied cream to my body, putting it over my silky-smooth legs. I think I was ready for the clothes now. I put the lace bra and pantie on, looking at myself in the mirror, I smiled. I thought that I looked pretty. I slipped my dress on, putting my high-heeled boots on. I sprayed perfume on, and I applied some light pink glitter lip-gloss. I was ready. I looked at the time, seeing that I took more than an hour to get ready. I really wanted to impress him. He was so gorgeous, in every way possible. I sat on my bed, petting Shadow. She was fast asleep, and I smiled. I heard a car pull up right in front of my house, and I sighed, trying to catch my breathe. My heart was racing more than I could ever keep up with. It felt as if it was going to beat out my chest with the rate that it was beating at. I opened the door, immediately drawn to Levi. He was truly a god. “Hi there.” He smiles. He was wearing a black suit, and I smiled. “Hi!” I smile at him. “You look beautiful, Luna.” He looks at me up and down, and I smile, blushing at his comment. “And you look handsome…” I smile. “Are you ready to go?” He asks, and I nod, locking my door. He lends out his hand, and I take it. His touch was electrifying, sending shivers down my body at a single touch of our fingers. “This is for you.” He takes a red rose out of his pocket, handing it to me. “Thank you. That is very sweet.” I blush, taking the rose. He walks to the passenger seat, opening the door for me, and I climb inside. He closes it behind me, walking around, and climbing inside. “So, where are we going?” I ask, and he smirks. “It is a secret, of course.” He starts the car, driving off. I looked outside of the car window, admiring how big and bright the moon looked. “The moon looks so beautiful.” I say, and he glances at me. “Not nearly as beautiful as you.” He says quietly, focusing his eyes on the road. I blush. I couldn’t stop looking at the moon. I felt so drawn to it tonight.. “There is a full moon tomorrow night.” He says, and I nod. “That’s cool!” I smile. “Tell me something about yourself.” He says, driving us off into the moonlight. “Well, what do you want to know?” I look at him, and he looks at me. “What do you enjoy doing in your free time? What is your favorite color?” He asks, and I giggle. “Some simple questions, huh?” I smile, and he nods his head, a playful smile playing on his lips. “In my free time, I love to ride my horse, I love taking care of animals, I love to visit my mother, and I love watching series and reading! My favorite color is probably black. I have always thought it’s a pretty color.” I smile. He nods his head, staying silent for a few seconds. “I see. What series do you enjoy? And what books do you enjoy reading? Why do you like black?” He asks, and I giggle at his curiosity. “My top series are probably Dexter, Vikings, Game of thrones, and probably Lucifer!” I smile. He nods his head, waiting for my next answers. “I love reading dark romance. It has a special place in my heart. And, I love black because it is such an underrated colour.” I say, and he nods. “There’s a series called Lucifer?” He asks, and I nod. “Yes, did you not know?” I ask, and he shakes his head. “What is it about?” He asks, genuinely curious about the series. “It’s about the devil, but he’s not as everyone portrays the devil to be. He is funny, he is kind, and he is caring. It’s about other angels too. It’s really good.” I say, and he stays still the rest of the way. Levi was quiet, and he was lost in his thoughts most of the time, and if I could have any desire, I wish that I could get a peek into his head. The silence was so comforting, and whenever I was in his presence, I felt so safe and so comfortable. More than I had ever felt before. “We are here.” He stops in an empty parking lot in front of the beach. The beach was quiet with nobody there, and I blushed at the thought of being alone with him on a date. Before I could climb out of the car, he walked to my side, opening the door for me. I climbed out, and I breathed in the fresh air. The moon was shining over the ocean, and the waves were breaking against the shore. It was lovely here. So beautiful, and so peaceful. The moon lit everything up with its presence. Levi opened up the trunk of his car, bringing out a basket, and a large blanket. Before I took a step on the sand, I took my heels off, stepping onto the cold sand. He walked next to me until we reached a nice spot. He put the blanket down, spreading it out. It was a large and fluffy blanket. He suggested with his hands that I must sit down, and so I did. I sat down, feeling the comfortable blanket under me. He sat down across from me, putting the basket in the middle of us. “I hope that you like pasta.” He opened the basket, taking out a plastic container, and handing me a fork. I smile, taking the pasta, and the fork. “I love pasta.” I say, and he nods, taking out his plastic container filled with pasta, taking a fork out. The container was still hot. He took out a bottle of what seemed like expensive champagne, and he took out two champagne glasses. He filled the glasses up, handing me one. I took it, setting it down in the sand, letting the sand hold my glass up. “It is gorgeous here, Levi.” I smile, and he smiles at me. “I am happy that you like it. I hoped that you would.” He smiled. We ate our pasta, having casual small talk in-between while I stuffed my face. “This is so good!” I moan at the taste of my pasta, and he watches me. “I didn’t make it, I just bought it from a fancy restaurant.” He chuckles softly, and I nod, stuffing my face. I probably looked disgusting right now, but I didn’t care. Pasta is life. I finished off my food, washing it down with a glass of champagne, and he finished as well. I packed our containers back into the basket, and Levi poured us both a glass of champagne again. I slowly sipped on it while I looked at the moon. From the corner of my eye, I could see him watching me with lustful and desirable eyes. “You keep staring at me.” It slipped out, and I blushed, seeing him smirk. “Because you are the most gorgeous woman that I have ever seen. You truly are a work of art, Luna.” He says, and I blush even more. “Thank you...” I blush, and he smiles. “Don’t thank me. I should be thanking you for gracing me with your angelic presence.” He says, and I giggle. “You are most welcome.” I smile. “I want to know you better.” I say, and he raises his eyebrow. “Do you now?” He asks, and I nod. “What would you like to know?” He asks. “What do you do for fun?” I ask him. “I only find two things fun.” He says, and I raise my eyebrow. “And what might those two things be?” I ask, and he smirks, making me blush. “Oh.” I blush, looking away. “I’m just kidding, sweetheart. I have fun spending time with you, and I have fun looking at you.” He winks, and I blush even deeper, feeling myself grow very hot. “You flatter me.” I mumble, and he chuckles. “You are incredibly adorable.” He pushes the basket away, and he holds his arm out for me, making me blush even more. “Come sit next to me.” He didn’t have to tell me twice, and I crawled over next to him, immediately being met with the smell of his strong cologne which I breathed in deeply. He smelt so good. He put his arm around my waist, and I felt butterflies in my stomach, and I felt electricity between my thighs… He held me close to his body. His body was warm, and I leaned my head onto his shoulder, both of us looking at the moon and the ocean. “Are you religious?” He asks, and I laugh. “That is a bit random.” I giggle, and he smiles. “But no, not really. I don’t believe in anything… I prefer to believe in what I can see.” I smile. “You don’t believe in God, or the devil?” He asks. “I mean, I don’t know? I guess I do maybe… I don’t even know. I don’t know what to believe in.” I say, and he nods his head. “Are you?” I ask him, looking at him. “Yes, and no. It’s complicated.” He says, and I nod. “I guess we all have a strange relationship with the man in the sky, don’t we?” I giggle, and he laughs. “You have no idea.” “I really enjoy spending time with you.” I say to him. “Me too.” He replies, deep in thought again. “How long have you been in town for? You are a new face.” I giggle. “I have been in town for a few weeks now. I am doing a job for my father.” He says, and I nod. “Does that mean that when your job is finished here, that you are going to head back from where you came from?” I ask, and he stay quiet. “I will have to. My dad needs me.” He says, and I feel my heart sinks. “Why does he need you?” I ask him, and he sighs softly. He looked like he was in pain. He was trying so hard to hide it, but I could see through him. “My father needs jobs done that he is not capable of doing. I am soon to be taking over his work.” He says, and I notice no excitement coming from him. “I am sorry. You don’t seem very excited.” I say, and he smiles, masking the obvious disappointment. “It’s really fine.” He says, and I nod. “Do you have any siblings?” I ask him, and he nods his head. “I have an older brother.” He says. “That’s nice. Does he also work for your father?” I ask him, and he nods his head. “Yes, he unfortunately does.” He chuckles, and I smile. “So, when do you think that you are going to go back home?” I ask him, still feeling my heart sink at the thought. “I am not sure yet. It just depends on when my job gets done.” He says. I nod my head, looking down at the sand to hide my disappointment. “Are you sad?” He asks, and I nod my head. He lifts my chin with his finger, making me look into his alluring eyes. “Why? Do you really think that I won’t come and visit you?” He asks, and I nod my head. “You should know by now, Luna. I am not going to be easy to get rid of.” He says, and I smile. “Good. Because I don’t want you to just disappear…” I say, and he smiles. I like you too much to want you to disappear… “I am not going anywhere; I promise you that.” He rubs my hip with his fingers, and I blush again. “When are you going to give me the honor of being in your presence again?” He asks, and I giggle. “We are on a date, and you are already asking me on another one, hm?” I ask him, and he nods. He looks me in the eyes, as if he was busy reading me like a book. “Luna, I cannot resist you.” He says, and I blush. “You have made me blush too much tonight as is.” I mumble, burying my head in my hands as to hide my embarrassment. “You look adorable blushing. And I love being able to make you blush.” He says softly into my ear, his voice sending goosebumps up my body. “Do you love making me blush?” I ask, and he nods. “I do. Hence, why I will always make you blush.” He smirks. “You are very charming.” I mumble, and he smiles. “Am I?” He asks, and I nod. “You are. Why don’t you have a girlfriend?” I ask him. “I don’t know. I just haven’t found the right one…” He looks at me, and I smile. “I hope you find her…” I mumble, looking away. “I am certain that I have.” He looks at the ocean. As the night continued, I started feeling sick. I felt weak… “I need to throw up.” I mumble, and I didn’t have time to get up before I started puking next to the blanket. He held my hair as I puked. Great. I puked on our date… How appealing. He rubs my back as I continued to puke my stomach out. Once I stopped puking, I sat back down next to him. “What is wrong?” He asks concerningly, and I shake my head, feeling myself get shivers. “I don’t know. I just suddenly started to feel sick. It’s strange…” I mumble, and he nods, getting up. He lends me his hand, and I take it. “Let’s get you home and in bed.” We walk to the car, and I feel myself grow lightheaded and dizzy. What is wrong with me?
