Piper looked at the door when she heard the noise. Then she saw Skyler and Marina.
As soon as Piper saw Skyler, her heart skipped a beat. She subconsciously withdrew her foot and distanced herself from Jax.
Even though they had divorced, she still felt guilty.
She felt like caught cheating.
Jax put away the medicine, stood up, looked at the door, and said loudly, "I'm afraid you have come to the wrong place, Mr. Shaw. This is the backstage, not the auditorium."
Skyler didn't even look at him. His eyes fell on Piper, and then on her ankle. His eyes were deep and full of coldness.
He walked in and stopped beside Piper. Looking down at her, he asked, "Did you hurt your ankle?"
