SOPHIE'S POV
As the car came to a halt in front of Karl house and I couldn't but hope he wasn't in. I got off the cab and the driver drove off. I watched as the car drove away, leaving behind a trail of dust.
" What do I do now?" I thought to myself as I looked for a way to get into the house without being noticed. "I hope he is not in." I muttered quietly as I looked around before entering.
Knowing I had to have a very good excuse for not being home when I claimed there had been a robbery, I had to make sure no one saw me go in, since I have not been able to come up with a perfect excuse for leaving.
