The corpses faded and cores began dropping here and there. In addition to a core, the Boss dropped an iron rank spellbook. A total of 239 iron rank cards were looted. The cards with the most duplicates were automatically converted to bronze cards giving me a new total of 59 cards.

I changed all my armor to the Thunbull set. The Thunbull set could nullify mid iron rank damage and halve incoming peak iron rank damage. It also increases resistance against lightning-element attacks and prevents [SHOCK] and [PARALYSIS].

As for the bronze cards I went ahead and fused them.

These left me with 5 [THUNBULL STAMPEDE] and 1 [THUNBULL GREATSWORD]. I went and recycled them as well.

"Hahaha," I laughed out loud like an i***t. I finally have something to add to the passive card sleeve. It was about to start gathering cobwebs. Trash Hand was getting a new roommate.

Other than the stupid name, the effect was awesome, if I had this card earlier, the Minotazer would have stood like a statue waiting for me to whip it to death.

With my emotions up high, I turned to the skill book the Boss dropped. It was [Lightning Blast]. It had a price tag of 70,000 gold on the hunter market. That was equivalent to 50,000 USD back on Earth.

I placed the book in my backpack (which I prepared to avoid embarrassing myself again) and began gathering the cores. The cores where about the size of a marble.

After collecting the loot I started to look for another herd of victims... kehum... thunbulls.

More than two hundred iron beasts and the energy gauge was about a third up. Two more herds and I'd be hugging a bronze grimoire to sleep.

I waited for half an hour before my MP was full again. I had used HEALING HAND thrice while I rested. My internal pains vanished after the second but I casted a third one just to make sure.

BOOM

A loud explosion came not far away from where I was. I ran towards the source. That explosion was a little familiar. I arrived at scene of the crime. A thunbull was stomping towards an unconscious person.

Flicking my wrist, the THUNDERING GREATSWORD appeared. I started waving the weapon at the bulls direction. A shockwave cuts through the air and tore a large chunk of flesh from the bull. It bellowed loudly and fell on its side. It kicked out wildly a few times before the light vanished from its eyes.

As I expected, the victim was the same girl from the exam. The explosion was probably her attempt to deter the bull from attacking her. And the results were different from what she expected.

I sighed and used HEALING HAND on her. Her injuries were worse then last time and had to cast the spell a few times to make sure she had no internal injuries.

A few minutes later, her eyebrows trembled. She slowly opened her eyes.
