When Zab finally got Zander to go home, Alex was waiting for them by the bottom of the staircase. Seeing his dad awake, Zander run to him and hugged him.
Alex hugged him back while rubbing his back.
“Why did my boy feel so down?” Alex asked and Zander just shook his head.
Alex smiled at his son’s behavior; it reminds him of when he was still a boy.
“Let’s go back to the apartment,” Zab said and they all went upstairs.
When they got back to their apartment, Zander went straight to his room. His parents just let him as they know he wanted to be alone. But Zari, on the other hand, is still not used to her surroundings and Zander is the only one she felt really familiar with.
It made her feel sad that her brother was choosing to be alone in his room. She wants to knock, and disturb him
