The kid’s been up and moving for over a week now. All the bruises and small cuts are gone, and the color has returned to her face. Aside from that nasty gash on her side she looked to be in perfect health, and Gaize was absolutely crazy about her already.
Anna and Dina kept bringing her books to help ease her boredom. She even started a small workout regimen to regain some of the strength her muscles lost over the weeks. There are times we’d come back to the compartment to see her hanging upside down from the bunk like a monkey. She sure is a funny kid, and it’s easy to see how Gaize fell so fast for her.
She finally managed to convince him to let her out of the compartment. No one thought it was really fair to keep her cooped up for so long, but we weren’t going to go against him
