Captain Gaston Lefevre looks at Teuns Stegmann, and suddenly there are tears in his eyes.
“Now, all is lost,” the captain says. “I have mucked up everything, mon legionnaire, but there was nothing else I could do. They did not want Julie to come. They refused to listen to me… They did not believe me. What shall we do now? What will happen to her?”
mon legionnaire“Let us go inside, Capitaine.” Teuns calmly takes the officer by his arm and leads him back into the armory. “We cannot stay outside, as they will do anything now to try and kill us.”
Capitaine“What are we going to do? They will t*****e her. They will keep her as a hostage and will possibly kill her. We nearly had her here in safety.”
“Do not forget, Capitaine, we also have two hostages here, and one of them is quite important.
