Chapter Six Marista walked across the hall and as she did so she heard voices in the sitting room. She realised that Anthony was downstairs talking to Mr. Tolmarsh and, as she paused for a moment, she heard her brother say, “When I was a boy, I used to find it great fun to slip out at night after I had been put to bed and, of course, there were dozens of ways of getting out of The Castle.” “What were they?” Mr. Tolmarsh asked.
