The exam room isn’t nearly as inviting as the ultrasound room. It’s stark white and sterile. “So go ahead and change. She’ll be in soon.” Heather places a gown on the table. “Can I have a bodyguard at the door?” Allie asks, picking up the gown. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised Allie’s so comfortable here.
