It’s Friday night, which in Sunrise Bay during the fall means high school football. All three of my brothers and I played quarterback. Tonight though, the school is honoring Xavier, who flew in for one night to get his award before he has to fly back out so he’s ready to play Chicago on Sunday. I asked Allie to come with me to the game because I’m trying to do what Logan suggested—get to know her better, build our friendship back up.
