Rowan's POV I stare out Red's window, watching the sun rise. My naked body, which is wrapped around hers, moves up and down with the rhythm of her slow, small breaths, and I cherish the feeling for what might truly be the last time. It’s a cruel sun, I think to myself as it burns my eyes. It’s a cruel world. But then I look back at her sleeping face and decide that a world that made a face like hers couldn’t possibly be all bad.  We both jump up when the knock sounds at the door.
