I still can’t believe she bit me.
Don’t get me wrong—I’m glad she did. I’d much rather look down at my giant, gaping scar and think of her love for me than Slade Lancaster or one of his minions. I just can’t believe she managed to make herself do it. The thought of tearing apart her flesh, no matter what the reason… It’s too much to bear.
