Levy wasn't sure whether he should be overjoyed or annoyed. He'd initially wanted to test his own personally created sacred art, which he arrogantly dubbed as a "divine art", but once he started circulating his foundation, Ayanda was able to absorb the Taboo Slayer cultivation extremely quickly. This startled Levy since this sacred art was designed by him, made only for Leviathan's. He used his time imprisoned within Purgatory to develop a way to release his own bodies restrictions, elevating his level beyond a mythical beast. Levy's hard work paid off as he was able to create his new sacred art and even push it's cultivation beyond mythical. He had hoped to have been freed by a powerful being who could have restored his original form, but now he has to make due with Ayanda. Surprisingly, the fact that he is able to absorb multiple sacred arts so far, has made Levy believe that in due time, he will get his original form, but what scares him is how rapidly Ayanda's growth is like, as well as his ability to take something in. It's like his body is a sponge that has a black hole built in, where it seems soft on the outside, but you can't tell where all the energy he absorbed flows to.
Just as Levy had finished the foundation for Taboo Slayer Divine Art, Ayanda was able to draw out a bit of the innate power, and layered it with his Burning Phoenix Sacred Art. Since he has no time, he wants to perform the basic moves like the chimera, but he needs to boosts his power output in order to cause any damage. So when he used the roundhouse kick, the phoenix flames were close to mythical level even though the skill wasn't. That's why Sipho was caught off-guard, but now he's fully unleashed his mythical level transformation, all for the sake of finishing off Ayanda.
Sipho is ready to strike with a lethal punch, moving faster than Ayanda to attack him after releasing his killing intent, when suddenly Ayanda releases an even more terrifying killing intent, which is coming from Levy within Ayanda's Soul Scape. Now that Levy is done with his short cultivation, he can focus on the fight along with Ayanda, mixing in his own bloodthirst into Ayanda's, driving to a point where even someone like Sipho feels a shiver down his spine with a taste of bloodcurdling fear being squeezed into his veins. He's only ever felt fear from his master, Abaddon, and even though he has a mythical demonic companion pet that can take on Lucifer, he suddenly feels like Ayanda is beyond his capabilities.
"What's going on?! He's just an academy student! This killing intent feels like some demonic mythical beast that can rip mythical dragons to pieces!" suddenly Sipho's mind was racing in confusion. Even if he wants to take Ayanda on, he now suspects that he probably has the Leviathan as his mythical companion beast with him.
Gritting his teeth, Sipho forces his body to fly forward and resume his attack, his momentary hesitation allows Ayanda to prepare his own strike, with his body being bathed in blood red flames, he rushes forward with the tusk like a blazing phoenix, now performing the Burning Phoenix Sacred Art dance as if he was a mythical beast level phoenix. Ayanda's body moves elegantly as he glides through the air to rise above Sipho's head, then strike down with lethal kicks as if he's an angry bird clawing at a cat.
His sudden pressure with his kicks, being mixed in with unpredictable strikes from his tusk knife, gives Sipho so much pressure that he's forced back to the hole in the mountain wall he made, but is also beginning to bleed through the cracks of his armor. Sipho is under immense stress from the strikes, but the constant attacks give him no chance to counter or even heal himself. He's never encountered any opponent that he couldn't calculate and toy with, but Ayanda gives him no time to even breathe. The constant switching of techniques as well as the power output, always leaves him at a disadvantage, but even now with him practically releasing his mythical form, he's still being put into a corner and is forced to contemplate risking his ultimate move which is also a double ended blade. If he uses this technique, he's guaranteeing his demise, and such a skill is reserved for desperate measures for the sake of Abaddon, not defeating an academy student who only got a companion beast recently!
Sipho decides to risk using part of the technique, since the incomplete skill could potentially mean that he won't kill himself in the process. He summons the golden hobo nickel coin from before, but he quickly flashes his hands in a quick magic trick to create ten coins, and throwing them into the air.
The ten coins transform into ten giant golden gorillas to shield him from Ayanda's attack, but as soon as Ayanda kicks one of them, it bursts like a balloon, with a pie flying towards his face. He dodges the gimmick quickly, and pops the rest of the golden gorillas, but as soon as they're all gone, Ayanda is alone, and Sipho has vanished.
Just as Ayanda is about to scan his surroundings, he suddenly feels small golden chains slowly enveloping his body, restraining him before he can react, keeping him locked in the air. Sipho reveals himself again, but now he's panting, having released his armor form, with his palms clasped together like a praying buddha. There is a deep sweat that's been building on his forehead, Sipho is in shock as he's been struggling to restrain Ayanda with this technique. He can believe how difficult with was to wrap his chains around him, but even worse, the fact that it took all of his armor means that Ayanda is possibly a mythical level warrior with just the sacred arts he's practiced. Now with his lock on him, he's stopped Ayanda from summoning his Leviathan.
While Sipho is struggling and starting to feel triumphant, Ayanda senses a strange feeling swelling from within his Soul Scape. He can tell that the golden chains keeping him in place have sealed away Levy, but Ayanda can tell that Levy is ecstatic now, almost dancing in joy at the situation they're in.
"YES! With this, we can start strengthening my divine art. Ha! This fool has no idea that the stronger the restriction, the more powerful the release from the taboo will be. Listen carefully boy! You're about to witness what true power is!" Levy bellows arrogantly and starts to circulate a new type of energy from the vitality of the golden chains. Ayanda watches carefully, with his eyes fixed on the energy fluctuations that Levy is causing, resonating with them from within his own body. Ayanda slowly starts to form a new cultivation base in his body, which unleashes all of the pressure points on his body, unlocking all of his Meridians.
Ayanda feels an enormous swell of vitality seeping into his body as he's floating. The energy surging in is immense, and also unique. Every cell in Ayanda's body feels like they can tap into it's potential, nd now they are even stockpiling on more energy to boost their capacity. Ayanda can also feel the transfer of the Taboo Slayer Divine Art, gaining a partial comprehension of the concept the Levy developed, which heightens Ayanda's ability to adapt with the moves. Now he better understands how to layer the power he used before, so he's no longer afraid of mixing the strange sacred arts he's absorbed.
Sipho was already feeling weak from using his Daemonic Discipline Sacred Art forbidden technique for supplementing his lack of energy with his own vitality. The risk of death was great, but since Sipho wasn't completely sealing Ayanda away, he would only be risking his current level dropping for some time, delaying his own true promotion to mythical. But as he feels like he's got a good lock on Ayanda, his golden chains loose their grip suddenly.
"What the f**k?!" Sipho was startled because he already felt that his restriction was placed, but in a flash, it's completely gone, and the lock on Ayanda is loosening very quickly. Just as Sipho is about to risk pouring more vitality, he feels it being forcibly drained from him, leaving him no time to react to the reversal. As Sipho is about to cut his connection to his golden chains, Ayanda has broken free and made his move.
Ayanda slashes quickly with the tusk, but moves so fast that by the time Sipho has brought his real golden gorilla back to block, Sipho's head has fallen off and the golden gorilla cries in pain as it breaks down into golden dust vanishing in the wind. Sipho's body fall down, with a golden hobo nickel falling out the palm of his hand.
Outside God's Prison, Petal is rushing through the dense jungle, being chased by a pack of wild gigantic furry Tyrannosaurus Squirrels that were disturbed by her presence in their territory. She's sweating profusely after ditching her cloak, and now her petite, brown skinned girlish figure can be seen, holding the plush toy version of the leader under her arm. At this point, Petal feels beyond exhausted, but she hasn't had a chance to rest since escaping from Sipho. She feels like she can't even take another step, when suddenly the leader momentarily became heavier before vanishing and appearing behind Petal, facing the Tyrannosaurus Squirrels.
"Nomzamo!" Petal exclaims. She never thought the leader could change back unless they took care of Sipho.
"Thanks Petal, I'll take over now." as Nomzamo says those words, she unleashes her pent up rage and anger to the Tyrannosaurus Squirrels who've now sensed the imminent danger, but can't run. From a distance, a tidal wave of hellish flames burn the entire forest, turning everything around into a crisp. Nomzamo lets out a sigh, barely breaking a sweat. She turns slightly to see part of God's Prison that's come into view now that she's cleared the trees and beasts.
"Is he dead?" Petal asks softly, after planting herself to the ground in fatigue, she can only hope that now Nomzamo is free from her transformation, she can deal with their current loss.
"I'm not sure. I felt his power fluctuating for some time before I changed back. Maybe we're out of his range." Nomzamo contemplated. She had never been in a situation where another daemon was powerful enough to suppress her mythical companion beast. Lucifer is only second to Abaddon, and only obeys Nomzamo based on a mutually beneficial agreement, where she can't disturb Lucifer for his help, but can only receive the power he allows her to use. Their cooperation is only based on the fact that Nomzamo was willing to live with those terms, and could bear the hell flames. In her mind, Sipho must have had a daemon at a similar level to her own, maybe even higher.
"Let's go back. We have to return to the Sect Master and report to the general." Nomzamo says, turning around to leave. At this point, as long as she can return to the Abyss Sect, she'd rather face the consequences of her impulsiveness than to face Sipho, or even the mythical companion beast she was looking for. If the Leviathan killed Sipho, then it's certainly not a companion beast she could've tamed.
In the aftermath of Ayanda and Sipho's battle, Ayanda has been collecting everything he can from the pockets of the dead bodies. From Razor he was able to get his relic map as well as the ring he found. Ayanda was secretly happy he didn't lose these items. He still wanted to see if the ring had value, and the map was something he stole from Mr. Han, so he has to return it. Luka didn't have much, besides his tusk knife, there was only a strange tiny mirror that he kept secretly. It mostly looked like one, but you could hardly even see your own reflection in it. Besides Sipho's hobo nickel coin which has lost its golden shine, Sipho also had plenty of useful items for assassin, various killing tools and even a black book with information as well as Sipho's preferred contacts. Ayanda was guessing that Sipho probably never imagined he could lose to anyone, so that's why he was able to find so much good stuff from the Abyss Sect on him.
Levy had been summoned out and was standing in the inner temple chamber, looking at the statues depicting his original body. He felt slightly nostalgic, but also confused as to who could've carved out such accurate monuments, revealing every part of his form. Levy started to grumble around as he walked, wishing he could tear down the entire mountain now.
The chimera has vanished since it took on the golden gorilla. Ayanda figured it must have run off now that it has no purpose in God's Prison, so he didn't really mind considering it was most likely waiting for someone to free it. Now Ayanda has finally gotten his own companion beast. Not only that, but it's a mythical beast, and he can also absorb different sacred arts. Before he feared that he wouldn't be able to catch up to his classmates, but now he's sure that he can definitely pass, graduate, and even have a good life in the future, as he can choose any job he likes now.
Ayanda smiles to himself happily, and pulls out the relic map and the phoenix ring to inspect them. He wants to see if he can use his plotted path out of the mountain, but what he really wanted to look at was the ring. Now that he's gotten it back, he feels a strange resonance to it, like there's a heartbeat of its own inside. He prepares to slip on the ring, but as he does, Ayanda feels a strange voice that sounds like its laughing maniacally in the distance getting closer. The moment the ring fits onto his index finger, it latches on with a sudden burst of raging bloodthirst.
"Hahaha! That fool Lucky and his Star Shadow Chimera is finally gone, now I can possess this human who's gotten the Leviathan for me! I can't wait to see the look on those God's when Sango returns!" the crazy voice bellowed, thinking its already taken over Ayanda, and directly forces his vitality and a strange sacred art into Ayanda's cultivation. As Sango was telling himself that he'll have a new host soon, he's suddenly horrified by the speed at which Ayanda has absorbed the vitality, and even took his God Blood Lightning Sacred Art to create another cultivation base along with his Taboo Slayer Divine Art, and Celestial Phoenix Song Sacred Arts.
Now Ayanda has a third cultivation, which feels very different to any of the sacred arts he's absorbed so far. With this mysterious Sango pouring vitality and a new sacred art into him, Ayanda hardly resisted, and even let Levy have some of the energy. Levy was summoned back by Ayanda, who observed Levy solidifying the new base, while spreading some of the energy from the vitality to his Taboo Slayer Divine Art, which grows in some parts. Ayanda can feel a surge of lightning rushing across his body, winding and circulating rapidly to build up an extremely powerful charge.
Once the lightning stabilizes in Ayanda body, he can also feel warm ethereal flames burning all over his body. This fire is coming from his blood now, exuding a terrifying presence that scares Sango to his core.
"Who is this damn human!" Sango is in disbelief. Not only did he lose all of his saved up cultivation after being trapped in that ring, but to witness a human being actually use his sacred art, was not what he expected. He thought that it would possibly break him, allowing Sango to restart his newly possessed body's cultivation. Now he's at a loss since all that is left of him is a soul, much like how he was trapped before. It was a pity for him that between the time Ayanda first tried him on until now, his body had gone through drastic changes, and his blood had absorbed an abnormal amount of vitality, but hasn't even raised his cultivation level yet.
Ayanda feels the new sacred art rushing through his body, making him feel like a powerful bolt of lightning, surging with fire. Ayanda steadies himself and attempts the movement techniques from Burning Phoenix Sacred Art, and finds that his speed has almost doubled. The only drawback is that after two steps, he feels half of his energy is drained, and he can no longer maintain the internal surging of lightning in his body. Ayanda releases the God Blood Lightning Sacred Art to catch his breath but also take in the change in his physique. Even though he was extremely fit before, he was really only below average since he had zero reinforcing vitality from a companion beast. Now with Levy and his Taboo Slayer Divine Art, along with the blood of the Star Shadow Chimera as well, Ayanda's body structure is evolving with a mythical level catalyst guiding his changes. So far, the changes are occurring on a microscopic level, with his bodies cell's reinforcing themselves to the very limits.
Ayanda now stares at the ring on his finger, which has oddly become much thinner, looking like a plain band now, but Ayanda can sense another consciousness within it, which has become weakened and is in a daze. He heard it shouting the name Sango before, so he will assume that's what it calls itself. As far as Ayanda can remember, Sango was the name of a legendary God in The Dragon Province ancient religions. He could wield lightning and fire at will, and was one of the most powerful mythical God's supposedly, but the myths surrounding his achievements were never well known.
Ayanda continues to stare the presence within down, and Sango can tell that Ayanda is waiting for him to say something. Sango is embarrassed now because he not only failed to posses his body, but he accidentally revealed things in his arrogant attempt. Now Ayanda has his cultivation, as well as his name. He doesn't really see much of a way out unless he does the one thing he's ever done; seek mercy.
"*cough* So, about me, you know... Possessing you. Maybe we can forget about all of that and you can just leave me where you found me before?" Sango nervously mutters, wishing he hadn't mentioned anything before.
"So, you're name is Sango. Are you really a God?" Ayanda asked nonchalantly, ignoring Sango's plea.
"What? A God? Me? No, I'm just an old evil ghost who got a big head after being locked away all these years. How can I be a God, when master is one?" Sango internally grits his teeth, but attempts to kowtow himself before Ayanda, in an attempt to make him forget everything from before.
"Is that so? Well, then I definitely can't leave you here then." Ayanda says calmly, making his way towards Levy to pick him up, "Who knows if an evil ghost like you will try and possess someone else? I'll watch over you to make sure you don't get any ideas again."
Sango cries and curses to himself, wishing he never came up with such a ridiculous lie.
