Starting that night, Isaiah has been going home later than usual. He would not even have dinner with me because he says he’s busy in the hospital. And I totally understand that. If he’s really busy with work, I respect that. But that doesn’t mean I don’t have the right to be get disappointed that his time with me had decreased significantly. I had to wake up an hour earlier than usual to make sure that I’d get to see him leave the house. He’s leaving at seven when he normally leaves at eight or nine before. And then he comes home at around nine or ten in the evening. Sometimes, I would already be asleep. Sometimes, I don’t want to do it but I tend to overthink.
