Aiden POV :
After the doctor injects something on Eowyn, she finally closes her eyes and went to a deep slumber.
The doctor told us that there's nothing to worry about. She only has a bruise, a bump on her head, and a broken arm. I saw her aunt breathe a sigh of relief and say her thanks to the doctor.
Sighing, I felt Benji's hand on my shoulder. I also feel relieved but didn't say anything.
These are my faults.
I should have known after my public display with her, someone will come to harm her.
"Aiden?" I turned my head when I heard Eowyn's aunt's voice calling me. Her eyes are red and puffy but she's smiling kindly at me. "I don't know you very well but thank you for what you did for her."
She doesn’t know that I am the reason Eowyn is here.
I just smile at her and nod my head.
