They sent me new help. It was an older shewolf named Paris, around fifty years old, with a strange, distant face.
"Try not to kill this one" Laric2 said, before leaving me with this new person inside my room. She helped me take a bath and brought me new clothes. Tight jeans, t-shirts with long sleeves, high heels, all brand new. They were all mostly black and gray colors.
"You will be given a laptop soon. Of course, excess to internet won't be possible. But there will be a lot of high end stores pre-downloaded and you can choose clothes for yourself. Just tell me which one you like and I will order them for you."
"That sounds nice. Thank you."
After a few minutes, I asked, "What about cosmetics? Can I choose that myself too?"
"It shouldn't be a problem. I will have to submit it to Carmila first for approval though."
"Who is Carmila?"
"Closest to what humans would call a manager. Nothing goes inside or out of this place without her approval. She only answers to Tacin."
"To my father?"
Her hands stiffened as I said it. I realized I still didn't know how she felt about the whole incest daughter mate thing between me and my father, her master. She probably realized I caught her subtle change in body language as she apologetically smiled at me.
"It's not that. I am just not used to anyone calling him anything but his title."
"It's okay. I know it's weird, this whole mate bond. I didn't choose it. None of us did. I just wished people remembered that."
She stood silent before she decided to speak up and gave me a new headache.
"Your uncle wants to see you after dinner, miss."
"Why?"
"I don't know." Even if she did, I doubt she would tell me.
"Take me to him." And she did.
What would he possibly want from me? It is not my father who seeks me, so I guess it has nothing to do with my uncle licking me until I come into his mouth.
Paris pointed at the huge gray hallway and the door at the end.
"I am not allowed in there. See you at dinner, miss."
My body unvolunterily trembled. Something didn't feel right. I walked towards the door and silently opened it.
I saw my uncle arguing with a huge black-haired wolf. Arguing about me.
"She didn't have any right," the black-haired wolf loudly snarled.
My good guess was that he was laic number 1 and it had to do something about a human girl, Natasha.
"You are forgetting who you are talking about." My uncle calmly said, with much less snarling and much more intimidating voice.
I can see it now. The difference between them and us. Clearer now than ever before, now, when they were aggressively snarling at each other. Larics were for sure intimidating, but not as much as the original werewolfs. He could not compare to my uncle, let alone my dad. Not even him, the highest ranking of them all. If it came down to a fight, he wouldn't stand a chance.
"I know exactly who I am talking about, abomination. She should be dead and you know it! Instead you are keeping her alive like some zoo animal and now she took something that was marked mine! Make her pay for it or I will."
"Sweetheart," My uncle soundly said with his face still facing laric1 but arms stratched in my direction, singling for me to come closer.
Did he know all along I was standing here and listening to them?
As if reading my mind, he spoke again while still looking at laric1, "You are subtle as an elephant in a china shop dear, hard to miss, come now."
Slowly and unsurely, I moved my body towards where they were standing. Laric number 1 turned his head towards me with pure hatred in his eyes. Before I knew it, he launched towards me. I think this insolence of his surprised my uncle as much as it did me, since he almost managed to reach me before my uncle pushed him towards the wall, away from where I was standing. Only a few meters separated me from what could easily be my death.
It didn't stop there. My uncle moved at light speed towards where laric1 was being thrown and intentionally broke his arm, accompanied by a large crack sound. I flinched as I saw his raw bone peeking through.
"You are right. She didn't have any right to kill that human of yours and she will be punished for it. Harshly, may I add."
My uncle calmly said as he broke his other arm following another even louder sound of breaking bone.
"But by me. Not you or anyone else." He broke another one of his bones.
"She may be an abomination, but she came straight from my brother's d**k and, also, she is not very bright, so she really can't be held accountable any more than one would hold a chicken responsible." Snap. Cracking bone sound.
"Meaning, If she makes a mess, you report it to me and I will deal with it." Snap....
"My brother would have taken your life for this, but then again, I am much more reasonable than he is." He broke up yet another finger of his.
"I will break each one of your two hundred and six bones you have and I will make sure you don't heal with your wolf blood any time soon. And you, Sarai, will watch and wait for your turn."
