Air World Realm

Does Roman have what it takes to make it through his World Realm and defeat the Banshee and Wraiths that have taken over the land?

***The portal snapped and sizzled with electric magic, tickling the back of Roman’s neck as he and Luna walked through the protective shield and onto a cream-colored stone platform. Luna inhaled deeply as she and Roman looked at the scenery in front of them.

Roman was surprised to see the sun shining brightly on a beautiful golden kingdom surrounded by white puffy clouds and vibrant colored trees and bushes dotted with colorful flowers. The prince pulled his long dark hair in a bun and looked at his Fairy Guardian in question.

“I thought Belhazur destroyed the world realms! This place is beautiful compared to the place you showed me during training,” Roman stated, and Luna looked at him.

“Looks can be deceiving,” the fairy noted, fluttering ahead.

Curiously, Roman watched the fairy flutter to a short stone pillar in the middle of the walkway. The Guardian of Air looked at the small structure oddly, and Luna looked at him.

“What’s wrong?” she asked, and Roman shook his head.

Cautiously, the Air Guardian walked toward the column, and suddenly the beautiful world started melting away, revealing something much darker. Immediately, Roman stopped and gasped, watching the bright blue sky grow darker, and the sun disappeared behind thick dark clouds flashing with red lightning. The vibrant plants withered and died, turning brown, and thick black smoke billowed from the village.

He stared wide-eyed at the once beautiful castle, which now crumbled on one side. There were black splotches on the castle walls and surrounding clouds which made the kingdom eerie and strange. Roman swallowed hard, looking at the gray fairy.

“What just happened?” he asked, not moving.

Luna sighed, gesturing toward the kingdom.

“This is what our world looks like now. The shield shows an image of what our realm is supposed to look like, but in reality, this is what Belhazur left in his wake,” explained Luna, and Roman looked around, slightly relaxing.

The Air Guardian then pointed to the pillar, and Luna looked.

“What is that?”

Luna looked at the Guardian of Air and smiled.

“That is the Sacred Pillar to the Guardian of Air. It is specifically designed for you when you come to this realm.”

Roman put his hand on his chin and thoughtfully looked at his Fairy Guardian.

“What does it do?”****
