CHAPTER THREE Rosanna stared at Sir Walter, overcome by the feelings that flowed through her. This was her worst nightmare come true. All her plans to escape to the country had been in vain. It had never crossed her mind that this dreadful man would follow her to Donnington Hall. Just for a moment as she stood in the doorway, Sir Walter did not realise she was there. He was laughing at something someone had said.
