28. Ice Giant

The next few days are nothing but magic lessons. Kane and Omar even join us for them. We start at 8 am with Exalos. Then we move to Ashe. After that Jenny. Then back to Exalos. Omar then decides to teach us doors. Those are fascinating, we can actually make a door go to another place entirely. Mainly we just go from 1 sitting room to another. Alden yells, "OK WE'RE UP."

I give him a kiss. "Good morning sir. I'm going to get a shower. I'll come to your office later."

I take a long shower. This morning felt so good. I get on the white hair and the white outfit, then Kina gets me some food and blood. Alden is already gone. He got out quickly. I make it down to the ballroom and set my game up.

"Game, 1 player. Only me again." I set the board with 1 side of the pieces, then I roll the dice.

I play for a long time. I kill some werewolves with a tidal wave. I smash a golem with a big chunk of ice. I get threw a maze. I fail trying to survive 60 seconds in a warzone. I find the chest and try a few times, but it's hard to get open. Then I summon an ice giant to kill 1 lion. I laugh as he hits it with icicles. It does not survive that. Then I stop laughing when the box comes down, and I'm staring at my ice giant who does not seem happy to see me. He throws icicles and I throw a shield. I can't undo him when I'm blocking so much. "SUMMON HELP ICE GIANT IN BALLROOM."

2 seconds later, Omar leads everyone in. Alden gets it to focus on him instead of me. Kane hits it with an orb so it drops and stops throwing s**t. I help them undo it, and we get rid of it.

"Thanks everyone. I did not think that through."

Part of the wall by the door falls. Alden shakes his head, "What happened?"

"I summoned an ice giant to kill a lion. Then, when the box came down, he attacked me. I couldn't undo him when I was blocking so much."

"You used to play this by yourself all the time?"

"In an office. The game box was set on a desk. It was small. So, if the box came down, the ice giant was 8 inches tall. Not 16 feet."

He rubs his eyes. "Please go back to playing at a desk when you're alone. If another magician is watching or playing with you, it's fine to play here. But please, no more in here alone."

"Ok. Sorry."

"It's ok." He wraps me in his arms and kisses my head. "I love you. I don't want you to get hurt."

"I love you too." I hug and snuggle him.

"Let's go finish the meeting. That was a nice break." Clark makes a door and ushers them back through.

I smile and Tim winks at me before he goes into Clark's door. Didn't even know he was here. I sit down at the game board. "Game, I'm done with the game for today. Thank you." The pieces unlock and I get some rags. I clean it up and put everything back in its spots. I smile thinking about Tim. That man looked a lot different though. He had long hair and a long beard. He was kind of shaggy and his clothes were worn. That's not how Tim ever was. He was always nice looking and well-kept. He had the same eyes though. Eyes I haven't seen in so long. Then I laugh. It could be his child, for all I know. His kids are probably grown and considered older than me now. Funny how everything worked out.
