"CALM DOWN." Bryan runs over with his hands up. "Calm down. We can order everything right now. Everything we want to upgrade. We can hurry before he changes the authorization on the money. What do we want?"
Victor rubs his hair back. "Order those planes."
"And like 4 helicopters. Big."
"Put in a runway away from the castle. On the back land."
Alden sits up. "Clear the old village. Set up the paths like they're roads. Put in stop signs and traffic lights. Fake pedestrians. These earth people need to learn how to drive."
"COMPANY CARS." Victor runs out.
"You should put a tower for the advisor offices, like Dipak's office. The brains built that, and it is insanely secure."
"How much do you need to do it?"
"893 thousand. However, a helicopter landing pad would be suggested on top, bringing the price to 956 thousand."
"Do it. Get the gold out of the vault now."
"Move 1,000 bars of gold from the castle vault to my ship vault as well. Right now."
"Yes, ma'am."
"I still have like 3 wings to redo. What do you want in them?"
Clark looks at Bryan. "Make 1 a... I have no idea, we have everything we need."
"Entertainment wing," Elek smirks. "Bowling alley, huge swimming pool with slides on the bottom. Have it open up to an outdoor swimming and play area. Lots of slides and water rides. Other floors in the wing could have movie theaters, laser tag, a virtual reality area, a library,"
Tim smiles. "Put a go-cart area outside."
Victor runs in. "Sorry I had to find the car catalogs. Everyone pick 1. We'll call them company cars. I'm getting the biggest truck I can find."
Alden nods. "Upgrade the limo's as well, Bryan. They are getting old."
"Builders to see Bryan."
"ENTER."
A man walks in staring at his phone. "You want to put in an airport?"
"Yes, these are the 2 planes I purchased. Make that work in the back field. Way, way back there. We'll also need a road going to it and a bus. I'll get the bus. You build the airport and parking back there."
"Yes sir. My best estimate for cost would be 10 million."
Alden nods. "I'll give you 20. Make it nicer."
"Yes sir." He pulls a paper out and hands it to Alden.
Alden signs and hands it back. "Where are we at?"
"Cars bro. You need to pick 1."
"I WANT THAT 1." I point at a pink 1 with a flower on the hood.
Alden shakes his head. "That's not safe baby. It's too little. There are not enough safety features."
"But it's pink."
"You can paint any car pink. This is nice. It has good safety features. We could have it done in that same pink."
I shake my head and snuggle him.
Bryan checks his phone. "There's going to be no parking at the airport. They're only putting in a turn around area for the bus. Apparently, the planes we have need a really long runway."
Alkawn nods. "We shouldn't be leaving cars out in the weather anyway. They'll be in the castle garage safe."
I open my eyes and stretch. Alden is holding me. Now they're planning the pool area.
"I like that car."
"That's super fast baby. Clark got 1 of them. Maybe he'll let me take you for a ride in it."
"I WANT 1 TOO."
He tickles me, "Hey, I got you 1, and I got a few extra to upgrade the castles'. I'm sure you'll like 1 of them at least."
"Ok." I smile at Bryan. "Will you fix the village too?"
"Yes, they're going to fix it and make it like a real village again. Then they put in the driving stuff. You'll be able to learn to drive in it."
"Thank you."
"Of course."
"We should also make an investment in the king's police. I've seen a few forms pass through for new equipment recently."
"How much would it cost to upgrade their uniforms and equipment to the most updated versions?"
Clark answers, "All of them? Maybe 20 million. I'll write it out for 30 to be safe."
Victor smiles. "Then give each department 500,000 for updates. The prison was recently updated, so that's good. The child's therapy building is good."
I nod. "Is there anything we can do for vampires in general? How many are there now? I know they went through a hell of a lot."
Tim rubs his eyes. "Not counting the prisoners, last I heard we were at 33,000."
"That's not many."
"No, it was over 200,000 when your brother took over. He was taking everything he could from them. If they had nothing to give, he would kill them."
"I don't know what we could give them. Nothing can take away what they've gone through."
Jenny puts her finger up. "Open a retreat. Make it only for vampires. Somewhere perfect. Don't charge anything for it. Vampires could stay there for a week with their families every year. Lots of rooms, it would be like a free vacation. Give them packages of stuff while they're there. Make them feel taken care of."
"I think I like the idea, but I've never been on a retreat or vacation. I'm not positive."
"Could do that and give them all a bar of gold. They've been bled dry by that asshole for so long, they're barely holding it together. Or instead of giving them all money, set up a program with the castle. Or in the village. Vampires can apply for assistance there. Assistance with anything. A new car. Somewhere to live. Finding a job. Getting some clothes. A lot of them were in hiding and don't have anything. If they need help, they could show up and ask."
"Housing would be a good idea. Once the houses are fixed up, we could give away the titles to the homeless."
"These are great ideas, but these vampires are all over the world. Some may not be able to even get here."
"Can we set up a separate department to help them? Put it in the king's police department. It would be closer than trying to get here. They could still get help with food, blood, clothes, medical care, maybe jobs, and a bit of money for housing costs. If they wanted to come here for the free house, the department could buy the plane tickets. I mean some of them might actually be from here and running."
Victor points at Bryan. "The village needs a doctor's office, grocery shop, household shop, coffee shop, pizza place, burger place, King's police department, a couple of random shops, maybe a sit-down restaurant, make it like an actual town."
Jenny nods. "Shoe store and dress shop."
Bryan is writing as fast as he can. "I'll buy into a few fast food places. I know I can get the pizza and burger places. Maybe even a coffee shop. I like that idea, then we could hire the vampires to work in them."
"Exactly. And the brains could until someone needed a job."
Clark looks up from his paper. "This is to implement the vampire help program. I got the idea of everything they were saying. There will be an office placed in every king's police department. Vampires can come in and ask for help. If it's in 1 of the categories specified, money or whatever it is, would be given. If it's something else, they could decide to give help or not, up to a $2,000 limit. Also, if they want to move here, plane tickets could be bought."
"That seems good."
"Great, now the cost to add on the office will be about $60,000 so that's being given to each department to cover the cost. Bryan can design the actual office when he gets a second. Then it can be redone in every police department. He wouldn't have to design each of them." Everyone nods. "The vampire help program would then be given $100,000 for every 100 vampires in that area. If they need more they can ask."
"KEHLANI."
I jump up, daddy's mad.
Alden signs it quickly and Clark shoves it in his folder.
"Why is your mother signing my name on a card and giving a boy I don't know a bar of gold?"
"He's my nephew, daddy. I have a sister on another planet. Our dragons are sisters. The boy is her mate's son. He's recently turned 400. He's my nephew, so I think that makes you related to him somehow. You have to give it."
"I don't think that makes me related to him, but I guess if he's related to you, it's fine."
"Thank you daddy."
"You're welcome princess. That's it for the year though. No more birthday parties."
"Ok daddy."
He walks out shaking his head.
Alden pats my butt as everyone cracks up laughing.
Tobias wipes his eyes. "Did you want to put in an arena or something like that here?"
I shake my head so fast.
Victor laughs again. "She was bored as hell at the races."
"I couldn't even have a turn."
Alden smiles. "We have 3 big cities within 3 hours of here, and they all have arenas and conference centers. People can go there for entertainment. Let's stay small here. We have the whole world to watch."
Bryan nods. "And now we have plane's. We don't need anything big here."
"I like the races." Tobias sits back and crosses his arms.
"Well, take a car and go watch them."
"I can't drive, woman."
Alden puts his hand up. "We're working on that. Are any big events going on?"
"Concert in a couple of weeks. Monster trucks this weekend."
"Oh s**t, get inexpensive cars. Like 10 of them. They are going to need something to learn from. They're not banging up $100,000 cars."
"Good call."
"Also, get everyone the newest model phone. Including her parents. Make a castle plan for it or something. They'll work while we're on the planet, anyway."
"Sir, we can make something with communication features that would work anywhere. It would use the same system as the transmission system on the ship. You could connect to each other or send text, voice, picture, or video messages to each other."
"Do that too. Bryan still order the phones for here. We can't give that technology to everyone on the planet."
"Can we make those phones for Dipak's table too? Or at least Dipak? Communication is weird between us. We miss a lot because we're not on the ship, or they're not on the ship. And dropping in on them in a red room is weird."
"Make Dipak 1 too."
"Yes sir."
"We'll explain it to them, and they can decide if they want them or not. But yea, at least we'll be able to send Dipak a message instead of dropping in on them."
"They will want them."
"You think?" Alden watches Elek.
"Yes. The pictures and text messaging. It's a lot easier. I was talking to Elroy earlier through Victor's messages. It's easy to work."
"Go ahead and make 1 for every person at their table too."
I raise my hand. "So does that mean I can call any of them? Like, I could call Thora on my phone or send her a picture or a message?"
"Yes, ma'am."
"I like that idea."
"You going to send me a message, baby?"
"I'll send you a picture of my boobs."
"Make one for the table mates too. And Luke."
"Can my parents get 1?"
"And Elek's mom and dad. They can talk to them that way."
"Elijah too." Elroy looks at me. "He's our brother, it would be nice to talk to him sometimes."
"Tobias's parents. Do you have siblings?"
"1 brother. And a sister that is too little."
"My parents will want 1."
"Collins parents. Tobias's brother and parents." I snuggle Alden. "That'll be good. They'll be able to talk to their families this way."
"That was good thinking. Let's get out of here. I'm going to get the animals up there somehow in the shuttles. Then we're going to take off. Everyone eat, and we'll try to leave in an hour."
I motion for a brain. "Notify my parents we're leaving in an hour for another planet. Ask if they want to go."
"Yes ma'am... They said yes. They are going to the shuttle now."
Alden stands up, "I guess they're riding with the animals. Everyone else give me an hour."
