On planet Pagadia Damascus is paying up for a favor that was extended to him. “Look man I can’t words cannot begin to express g how grateful I am for this” says Damascus “well I think its best you guys leave now, they are going to find out he escaped, especially now that I removed the electronic chip that was in his neck” replies the enforcer agent “alright we will be out of your hair. So none of this will lead back to us” asks Damascus “ no the intergalactic patrolmen and enforcers will only come here since the chip will show this is where it was last active, after that they will stop their search, however your kid will need to lay low” warns the enforcer agent. Damascus and the agent shake hands and Damascus gets into his space shuttle and leaves the planet. “Can you tell me what the hell has gotten into you” asks Damascus “I took a shot and I missed pops” replied David “you took a shot and missed! Why are you stealing from places that are under the watch of the enforcers, huh” says an angry Damascus “ you make it seem like you have never pulled a heist” retorts David “ well I for one am smarter than you son, you asses the job before you do it. I don’t do jobs that end with me in the null and void. Let me tell you something the null and void houses dangerous criminals” replies Damascus “I am grown I can take care of myself” says David. Damascus stands up and grabs David by the neck before he lets him go again and laughs. “Oh yeah you can take care of yourself….. Your face says a different story” says Damascus “you should see the other guys” replies David. Damascus hits David in the chest and says “oh young man you do not want to pick a fight with Silgax or the enforcers” says Damascus and he finally sits down, “Silgax that monster” he adds “what about him” asks David. “It would be better you stay away from him and also avoid pissing off the enforcers, what exactly happened in Pagodia” asks Damascus. “I met this girl and she introduced me to her friends” says David who is interrupted by Damascus “this alien girl she is Pagodian” asks Damascus “yes she is” says David “is she like your alien girlfriend” asks Damascus “no, can I continue” replies David and Damascus shakes his head “so I met these guys and they say they’ve heard about me and they have a job for me. They tell me that all I have to do is help them lift some artefact from some museum and also keep the heat of them” says David “and you did not do your due diligence, you didn’t ask what it is you were stealing, what you were hitting and who you could potentially be pissing off” replies Damascus “no” replies David “why” asks Damascus who is beginning to get angry “well I just didn’t have the time, it was short notice” replies David. Damascus once again gets up from his seat and he hits David with a slap and says “the problem is you don’t think, think David! Think David! You never take a job like this, have you ever seen me take a job that is so risky” asks Damascus “ no “replies David. “ how much were you paid” asks Damascus “ I was going to be paid with a hundred pounds of gold” says David. Damascus tilts his head and does a few calculations in his head “well that is slightly more than two million dollars so I can see why you would make such a dumb decision. Where is the gold” asks Damascus. David drops his head and says “I never got it” “you never got it” asks Damascus “yes, after we hit took the artefact the place was filled with cops but the pagodian police were not a problem, the problem was your enforcer people. They shot me with a teleporter gun thing and next thing I was in the null and void” says David. “I see” replies Damascus as he sits down and starts thinking. “ I need to get back to Pagodia and find those guys, I need to have a word with them” says David “ that isn’t going to happen” says Damascus “ why not” asks David “ because it’s risky. The heat in Pagodia is too much right now we need to lay low” says Damascus. “I thought you sorted it out” asks David. Damascus laughs and says “ oh it is far from being sorted, that guy I spoke to he is an enforcer agent and a good friend of mine, what he did was simply extend a favor to me his friend. A favor that not only put his job at risk but his life. And so you know David that favor he did getting you out of the null and void is expensive, and we are going to repay it by doing a few off the books operations” “what operations are those” asks David “we will be working for them when the time is right” replies Damascus “when the time is right” asks David “yes when the time is right. Because of your moronic actions we have to go back to earth and lay low for a while” says Damascus “ until your enforcer friend reaches out” says David “yes until he reaches out” replies Damascus. He then walks away from his son going into the cabin to check if the coordinates for earth are correct. He then walks to the sleeper cabin and lies down before he says “there’s some food in the kitchen” and he sleeps. “Alright” says David.
