I NEVER SAW IT COMING

Morning comes all to soon for me as I hear my brother calling for me to get up.

James: "Shantelle, Drake will be here in 45 minutes to pick you and Ruthless up so lets go."

Me: "I'm up, I'm up." I yell back as I drag myself out of bed and into the shower.

30 minutes later I am grabbing my bags and heading to the living room. The second my brother notices me him and Ruthless are walking to me and grabbing my bags to place them on the front porch. They where discussing something quietly between themselves when I noticed headlights pulling into the driveway.

I can't help but take notice at the fact that it's a 2021 Dodge Charger that has yet to be released to the general public for purchase. I watched Drake step out of his vehicle and I swear it becomes Niagara Falls down between my legs as I noticed that he's stepping out of suicide doors. Oh my God, I've always wanted a vehicle with suicide doors. As I give sexy eyes to the Dodge Charger and all too appealing coolness of the suicide doors, I think, (Drake has one sexy car.)

After saying our goodbyes to my brother. Ruthless, Drake and I all climb into Drake's sexy car and head off to the airport. I must have fallen asleep sometime after getting onto his private jet because I don't remember much of the flight before I'm being woke up and told that were there already in Paris. Getting off the private jet I notice there is not only one but two 2021 Dodge Chargers waiting in the parking area.

Me: "So Drake I can only assume that the spitting image of the Charger from back home is yours, but what's up with the badass hot pink one?? Is it your girlfriends or something ??", I ask expecting him to say yes to it being one of his girlfriends or maybe his female family members or something.

Drake: "No .... actually it is a gift for this very beautiful girl that is doing me a huge favor and saving my a*s by doing so." He says with a sexy smile.

Me: "Oh, must be some favor." I say as I head towards his Charger.

Drake: "Well don't you even want to check it out ??" He asked looking at me amused.

Me: "What so you mean ??" I say.

Drake: "I mean don't you want to checkout your new car ??" He say as he dangles the keys in front of my face causing my eyes to grow extremely wide.

Me: "Wait....what?? You mean to tell me I am the girl that's saving your a*s by doing you a huge favor ??" I ask snatching the keys from his hand in front of my face and start running towards my new baby without even giving him a chance to respond.

All I can hear as I'm running towards my new baby is Drake and Ruthless laughing their asses off. I don't know exactly what it is they're finding so hilariously funny but they're getting a good laugh out of it. I don't really care either to be honest with you all I care about is the beautiful 2021 charger I'm approaching. As I approached it I hit the button connected to the Keys and get so Giddy and excited that I start jumping up and down and spinning in circles as I scream excitedly. I watch the suicide doors automatically pop open. I'm all up in this damn car checking out everything to the point that I don't even notice that Drake is already in the driver's seat of his starting it causing me to whip my head up so fast, you would think I would have had whiplash. He tells me to follow him to where we'll be staying. I climb in closing my door and buckling up as Ruthless gets in the passenger seat. As we start driving through Paris my giddiness subsides as I have to start paying extra attention to the way things are because they are different driving here in Paris apparently then in the United States. We finally get to a really nice fancy looking hotel that stands quite tall. As I get out of my new lovely baby and hand the keys over to the valet attendant I can't help but look up at the extremely tall building and think how I feel sorry for whoever stays at the very top because it is Extremely high are up there, and that means that from the top it is extremely far to the bottom. I have a thing about Heights even if I'm in a building.

As we're walking through this beautiful Grand Hotel I can't help but think how it has quite the royalty theme going on with the red velvet carpets, the gold trimming around the border of the walls, and all the different types of beautiful Crystal and diamond chandeliers hanging from the ceilings. Drake doesn't stop to get us checked in he just keeps walking to the hallway where there's a door that says no entry Beyond this point private elevator. Apparently he does not care about the no entry Beyond this point sign I think as he heads to the doors and I follow. And just as the sign says it's a private elevator on the other side of them doors that Drake is walking up to and punching in a code on a pin pad. Well that would explain why he doesn't care about the do not enter Beyond this point I wonder if it's actually his private elevator or if it belongs to somebody he knows or something anyways I'll have to ask him later. We all file into this luxurious looking elevator that I can't believe actually had seating chairs and loveseats in along with a butler that brings you drinks as you sit down and wait for the elevator ride to come to a stop. Feeling a bit dehydrated I accept the big core water bottle from the butler as I say thank you and take a seat. It doesn't even cross my mind at the time that were sitting there waiting a rather long time to get to our floor that we're actually going higher up. It is not until I feel Ruthless grab my hand as the elevator wall begins to slide away revealing a big glass window that I realized just exactly how high up we're going. My breath catches in my throat as my hand grips tightly onto his while my other hand claws into the arm of the loveseat we're sitting on.

Me: "Ruthless .... did you know that was going to happen ?? Oh and one other thing.... just how high up are we going ?? Please feel free to answer and in whichever order you choose just as long as you answer both quickly please." , I ask in a low panic knowing that I probably am not hiding it as well as I should be. My body is sunk into the love seat that he and I are sitting on.

Ruthless: "Shantelle, I didn't know for sure, but I kinda saw it coming when Drake said we where on the very top floor." He said pulling me into his side making me lay my head on his shoulder. He is holding me just as tightly as I am holding him and for that I am so grateful that he is here.

Ruthless: "Just so you know .... all of the walls on the top floor except the bedrooms and bathrooms are windows so that you can see out over Pairs."' He adds squeezing me a little more. I all of a sudden forget how to breath and my body freezes into a petrified state.
