Baddest of the Bad

Julian was getting on his nerves and if Lorcan doesn't eliminate him, Julian is going to pose another problem in the future. The last he would ever want to have is to a vampire determined enough to kill him, has enough means and people to help him.

That's when Lorcan decided he was going to kill Julian tonight. The moment that invitation was given to him, he knew the time has come. So he talked to others and told them the plan. Sebastian was against the recklessness but eventually, his careful brother considered his plan and then finally worked together with him.

The witches of St. Angeli are already briefed by Esmeralda and Leila. The mayor is already convinced and the wolves are on their plan too. If they're planning to corner Julian, a wolf's venom would be effective.

He likes Kaiden the least but he told him about the plan too, skipping Nadia of the orientation. He knows Julian very much and he knows he's going to go after Nadia. Kaiden may know the plan but only part of it. Dahil kung sasabihin man niya na gagawin niyang pain si Nadia ay hindi papayag ito. He doesnt really care what would happen to others but for some reason, he hesitates using Nadia. Perhaps it was the prospect of Nadia hating him that made him hesitate. Then again, there is also something about that hatred in her eyes that makes him drawn.

He went upstairs right after the slayer shoot the vampires. It was then that he saw Julian still recovering. He wasn't sure what made him so sick after drinking Nadia's blood but he couldn't care less. Tonight, Julian is going to die. That's all that matters.

The wolves are already positioned outside, ready to strike if need be. Hw reminded himself to commend Aedion for being actively cooperating.

Julian was forcing himself to stand as though it took all of his strength. Just how much azalea did Nadia drink to make Julian like this?

When Lorcan looked closer, he saw how Julian's mouth bled and how the side of his mouth burned. Nagtataka siyang napatingin sa lalaki.

"There is something...there is something in her blood," saad nito sa kanya at napangiti naman si Lorcan doon.

"She was drinking azalea before tonight. Not surprised."

Ngunit umiling si Julian at napahawak ito sa silyang naroon. "No. That woman...is different." Naghihikahos ba rin ito na para bang nahihirapan na ring huminga. What he said got Lorcan's attention.

"What do you mean?"

Julian looked at him and tumbled about a suitcase. Nalaglag ang suitcase sa sahig ay kumalat ang mga laman niyon. It contained vials with some liquid inside. And Lorcan instantly knew what they were. Ngunit nakita rin niya ang mga ginamit nf syringe at mga bote. Which means that Julian had used whatever was on those vials.

He looked at Julian at unti unti niyang nakita na naghihilom ang mga sugat nito sa paligid ng bibig. Naningkit ang mga mata niya habang tinitingnan ang laman ng vial. Why does Julian need those vials to heal?

Tila nabasa naman ni Julian ang tanong sa kanyang mukha dahil sumagot ito. "Her blood contained werewolf toxin."

"What?" Napatingin siya sa vials at mas lalong nagtaka kung anong mayroon sa mga iyon at nagamot si Julian. If he's poisoned with werewolf venom, a hybrid's blood should be able to cure it.

Then he saw Julian flexing his body before he looked at him. "With those werewolf venoms we got, a bit of your blood, and a witch's help, I have made a substance that could cure a werewolf bite. I plan to produce a lot of this enough that vampires don't need to be scared of being bitten by wolves anymore."

"So that's another science experiment you got going aside from that potion you were planning to take to surpass me?"

Nakita niyang ngumisi si Julian sa gawi niya. "Thats true. But youre wrong about one thing, Lorcan Sylvaine."

Then he saw how Julian's eyes changed to yellow—different from a vampire's bloodshot eyes.

"It's not a plan anymore because we already did it," saad ni Julian. Lorcan looked at the man in front of him and he instantly knew he is not someone ordinary.

The rogues have successfully made a creature stronger than a hybrid.

"I am going to be your nightmare, Lorcan Sylvaine--"

Bigla na lang natigilan ang lalaki. The next thing Lorcan heard was the chants of the witches around them. Napaluhod si Julian sa sahig at saka ito napatingin sa kanya. It was his turn to smirk.

It was Esmeralda who told them not to take any chances. Especially with a vampire with a strong enough drive to kill Lorcan. He will always strive to be one step ahead.

"Not so might now, are we?" he said. He looked around and saw several witches coming out, their hands outstretched and chanting their spells to stop Julian from moving. Narinig niyang napasigaw ang lalaki dahil sa sakit and there was nothing more delightful than the sound of his screams.

The witches continued to do their spells and then Julian's eyes turned bloodshot once again. Napangiti siya. "You've done quite enough damage in this city, Julian. And you have made enemies out of the only pack living here. They're here to take their revenge."

Nakita niya ang takot sa mga mata ni Julian dahil alam niyang alam nito ang ibig niyang sabihin. He looked outside the window where the wolves are and then he turned his back. The last thing he heard was the scream of Julian Cestmont, the glass windows shattering to the floor, and the growl of several wolves that Aedion brought together with him.

Lorcan closed the door before he walked down the hall to rejoin his siblings. The next thing he heard was the explosion. Of course, they needed a good cover story for the people.

But the real story remains the fact that Julian is finally out of their lives.
