“Would you be fine alone here?” Leonid pushed my luggage in front of the door to the walk-in closet. He looked comfortable with his plain white shirt over his floral summer shirt, denim shorts, and brown boots.
We just arrived at the resort and I have to take notice of the huge and spacious villa our parents got for us. I was told the villas next to it are empty because they are already reserved for the wedding this week.
I nodded and gave a smile to him. “Thanks.”
“I’m really sorry. I’ll just meet them at the restaurant here. After that, I’ll be in my room.” He gestured at the door of the connecting room at the corner. That’ll be his room. We are grateful our parents didn’t book us one bedroom. That would still feel awkward between us.
