Chapter 11

1734 Words
Clifford and I stayed at a hotel for the night and it didn’t end without us having s*x on the bed. We slept naked and woke up in each other’s arms. I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw is his broad chest. I slowly traced my index over his pecs until I heard him groan, stirring from his sleep. I looked up and saw him with his eyes still closed. I smiled as I saw how his bows are still furrowed even when he’s asleep. I reached for the crease and tapped my index finger on it, hoping that it would relax. But it only made him open his eyes and look at me. He immediately smiled when he saw me. “Good morning,” he whispered before leaning in to kiss my forehead. “Good morning,” I greeted back. I glanced at the clock on the wall and saw that it is almost eleven in the morning. “It’s almost lunch time,” I whispered. He raised his brow and pulled me against his chest before wrapping his leg around my waist. My eyes widened because I immediately felt his erect member against my stomach. I tried to pull away but he held me even close. “Don’t worry. I know you’re sore,” he mumbled against my temple making me scoff. He smirked at me playfully. “Why? Do you want it now, too? I can still go one round before we explore the nature in Detroit, baby.” My eyes widened in shock and I couldn’t help but hit his chest lightly. “You’re impossible!” I squeaked and he just hugged me tighter. “Did you mean, insatiable? Well, it wouldn’t be hard especially when I hear you moaning and screaming for my touch,” he whispered sensually making me groan. He chuckled and sniffed my hair. “You’re so cute.” I rolled my eyes and tried to push him off me but he was strong. He laughed and shook his head. “We need to move fast. It’s already lunch time!” He sighed before letting me go. My eyes are narrowed at him while he’s grinning like an i***t. I sat up and the blanket slid down, revealing my naked chest. “Hmmm…” he hummed before smirking. He tried to reach for my breast but I covered it with my arm. He licked his lips and shook his head. “I’m taking a bath,” I announced. “I’m coming with you,” he chimed, earning him a glare from me. “You’re not. You said I’m sore,” I told him. He just stared at me. “I’ll just shower with you.” He sounded so eager. I rolled my eyes and shook my head and I walked to my bag to get my clothes. I heard Clifford getting out of bed as well. He walked to his bag and grabbed some clothes, too. I looked at him and my eyes almost popped out of my head when I saw his proud manhood. Is that normal? He just woke up! He smirked when he noticed that I was checking his member out, obviously shocked at the size of it. I looked at his face and rolled my eyes. I grabbed the towel provided by the hotel and walked straight to the bathroom. I closed the door and started to shower when I heard the door opening again. I sighed and shook my head when I felt Clifford coming under the shower with me. I squealed when he suddenly held my waist and kissed my shoulder. “My goodness, Clifford! We’re going to be late!” I scolded him but he was incessant. He kept kissing me until my jaw before reaching for the shampoo. “I’ll bathe you,” he whispered as he started applying shampoo on hair. He massaged my head, making me close my eyes and feel the relaxing effect that it brought me. “Do you like it?” he asked me and I nodded. “Yes.” He chuckled lowly before reaching for the body wash. He turned me around to face him. He’s looking at me with serious eyes. I bit my lower lip and watched the water drip down his body. His perfectly formed abs and his marvelous V-line is going to be the death of me. I heard him smirking before starting to pour the body wash on me. He grabbed the loofah and started to apply it on my neck then down to my shoulder. He stepped forward, making me lean on the wall as he started cleaning me. The loofah he’s holding went down to my breasts, immediately exciting my whole system. I already told him that I am sore. And he even told me that himself. But why is he building up all my carnal desires right now. I want us to finish taking a bath and start exploring the nature in Detroit. But the next thing I know, I was already straddling him while he pushed himself inside me as my back felt the cold wall of the bathroom. The sound of my moans is mixing with the sound of the water from the shower. “s**t, Clifford!” I cried as I felt myself coming again. I am still sore but I didn’t care about that. I just want Clifford to make me come and satisfied. And so, he began thrusting inside me harder and faster until my whole sanity was shattered. *** “I’m sorry,” Clifford hugged me from behind as I put some makeup on my face. I looked at him with narrowed eyes. “What are you sorry about?” I asked him. He sighed and kissed my cheek. “For what happened in the shower? I know you are sore but I still tried to seduce you,” he confessed. I raised my brow and smirked. “At least you got conscience,” I told him before kissing his cheek. “It’s fine. I wanted it too. Let’s go to the lake!” I placed my things inside my bag and gave one last look on my face before I lacing my fingers with his. “Let’s go!” I beamed as I led him out of the room. We drove to the nearby lake and had our little picnic. We bought some food from the convenience store nearby. I smiled and inhaled the fresh scent of nature. “You like it?” Clifford asked me. I nodded and looked at him with a huge smile. “How did you know about this place?” I asked him. I loved it. We seem to be in the middle of a forest as we sat in the front of the lake. Clifford handed me my burger before smiling. “I think I was trying to shake off the toxicity of my deployment in a warzone when I came across this place.” My heart hammered in my chest. “You were deployed in a warzone?” I asked, unable to help myself. While I know that he’s a soldier and there is a huge possibility that he will be deployed in dangerous places but I have never imagined him being sent to a war. My heart hurt at the thought. Can I handle him being sent to a war? Will I be able to keep my sanity waiting for him to come every month? I don’t know. Clifford seemed to have noticed my fears because he scooted close to me and hugged me from the back. He stretched his legs on either side of me before pulling me closer until my back rested against his chest. “Are you scared?” he asked me. I smiled weakly before sighing. I leaned my head on his shoulder. “Can I not be scared?” I asked in a small voice. He chuckled weekly before kissing my cheek. “Don’t worry, Julia. I will try to live every mission for you,” he whispered. Butterflies got crazy inside my stomach. My whole system is in a haywire as I heard his words. My heart was jumping in joy. “For me?” I asked as I looked at him. He smiled and nodded. He reached for my face before planting a soft kiss on my lips. “I now have someone worth living for,” he whispered against my lips. “And that’s you, baby.” Tears pooled around my eyes as I heard those words from him. I don’t know, maybe I am just getting overwhelmed by his words because I never had anyone tell me those things. I never had someone tell me I’m worth living for. Not even my mother. “Really?” I asked him, unable to make myself believe what I just heard. He chuckled and kissed me once more. But this time, his lips lingered on mine longer. He kissed me deeper, as if telling that I need not to worry about it. It’s a kiss that reassures me that what he said is true. He leaned his forehead on mine as his thumb brushed against my cheek. “Isn’t it obvious?” he asked me. “I love you, Julia.” My eyes widened as my lips parted. “Y-You do?” He chuckled and pinched cheek lightly. “Do you think I’ll bring you here if I don’t?” he asked me back. “Would I be asking you out if I don’t have feeling for you? Or would I have wanted to see your face every second of everyday if I am not in love with you?” I swallowed hard as I stared deep into his brown eyes. His eyes have always been expressive and they hypnotize me. They trap me in them, leaving no room for escape. “I know I am not someone who could match your status—” I shook my head and placed my index finger against his lips. “I am not like that,” I replied. A lie. I am like that. I judge people based on their social status. And maybe it’s because my mother has always taught me to only be friends with people who are rich. I have only been surrounded by elites. But it all changed when I met Clifford. He was someone who broke all the stigma I have for average people. He made me realize that respect and breeding can’t be bought. He made me feel respected and treasured—things I have never gotten from people at the top of the hierarchy. I have learned a lot from Clifford. He’s my game-changer. He smiled at me before leaning in to kiss me quickly again. “Don’t worry. I’ll work my way up the ladder and make you proud of me,” he whispered as he leaned his forehead on mine.
