“Where the hell have you been last night?” Mom was raging when I got home. To be honest, I didn’t know she’d still be here. She should be at work now but her clothes say otherwise. She’s not in her office clothes. Maybe she skipped work. I sighed and tried my hardest to not roll my eyes at her because I know it would only make the situation worse. I kept my calm and faced her. “I had a busy night, Mom,” I replied. She narrowed her eyes at me. “Well, I had one too! Sage just f*****g proposed to Heaven in the auction! What do you think now?” she asked in an obviously annoyed tone. I blinked at her. To be honest, I am happy that Sage finally decided to do that. At least now, I believe our parents will not be pushing us to each other. It’s gross! And I’m happy I am free. f*****g finally!
