Getting inside the shower room, I decided to give myself a soothing hot bath. I turned the warm water on and filled the tub with it. I left it for a while and walked towards my closet drawer. I started choosing one of the bath bombs Jen gave me before I left California.
She knew I love using them that she bought me more than fifteen pieces of it that almost filled up one of the four suitcases that I brought on the island. I picked my most favorite strawberry scent and headed back inside the bathroom.
After dropping and mixing the essentials in the tub, I took my clothes off and carefully stepped inside the warm bathtub. The water was now in glittery pink, and the smell truly soothed my senses.
Lying my body under the water, I closed my eyes before inhaling a deep and heavy breath. “D
