Intimate dance with the bosses

ANGELICA'S POV Have you ever felt you are in hell and heaven at the same time? No? Well, let me describe it for you. It was my current situation. I was sitting in front of my handsome and well-built bosses, who looked like perfect stones with their cold demeanor, while I was a wrecking mess. Since we were sitting in Boss Ericson's Limousine, Boss Dylan was sitting in front of me, observing my every move, and I was sitting there, trying my best not to do anything that would make me look like a fool again. As if God heard my plea and thought of playing with my luck, my phone vibrated with an incoming call from Victoria, and I bit my lips. It's just perfect timing. How am I supposed to take this call now? After some time, I saw my phone vibrating with another call. My fists clenched around my dress. Boss Dylan was staring at me with those ocean-like blue eyes. "It looks like our secretary is busier than us," he said I couldn't see his smile, but his tone was enough to make me look away from embarrassment. "I am sorry, I -" "Pick up," Boss Dylan's words sounded more like an order rather than a good gesture, and my hands felt even more jittery than before. "Hello?" I picked the unknown number. "Well, hello, sweetheart," All my nervousness left my body, instantly replaced with anger and annoyance when I heard who it was. "How did you get my number?" I gritted my teeth, keeping my voice and anger in control. "It wasn't too hard to get, my love. In fact, getting information on you is the easiest job in pursuing you. Now tell me, when should I set the date for our -" "F*ck off," I ended the call and clenched my fists around the phone before dialing my dad's number. "Hey, love. I thought you said you would be -" "Handle him, will you?" My voice dropped, and I am sure Dad immediately understood who I was talking about. "Another date?" Dad asked, and I closed my eyes before remembering I wasn't alone. Sh*t. Why did I have to call my dad in front of my bosses? Why the hell did I even pick up that call? I should've known better than to pick up a stranger's call like this. I bit the inside of my cheeks in annoyance, peering my eyes at my bosses, who were busy on their phones. "Just handle it," I ended the call before stuffing it in my clutch. F*cking hell! I groaned inwardly, crossing my legs as I leaned towards the window, accidentally touching Sir Dylan’s knee, who immediately looked at me. "I guess someone is troubling you?" I heard Boss Ericson’s voice and became stiff. They heard. Of course, they would listen to it. "It's just a school time bully," I tried to dismiss the matter. "School time bully or stalker?" Boss Ericson looked up from his phone, his intense gaze immediately capturing me. "I would rather not talk about it," I whispered, and he nodded. After getting out of the car, we walked to the venue, and I was amazed to see the hotel's grandeur. "Let's go," Boss Dylan whispered in my ears, and I almost jumped on impulse. The large chandelier in the center was the first thing that caught my attention. "It's beautiful," I murmured before looking to my left when I felt Boss Dylan placing his hand in the middle of my back. What the hell was he doing? I wanted to scream at boss Dylan. Wasn't it enough that he was so attractive that he had to do things like these to make my heart race? Shouldn't it be illegal to - I was brought out of my thoughts when Boss Ericson placed his hand on my waist, making my heart drum even louder. Breathe Angelica. Take deep breaths. This is because you are here as their partner and secretary. I told myself, finally relaxing. I followed them to every client they talked with and noticed how straight to the point and curt they were with everyone. They didn't like to talk much, which added to their mysterious nature. "Angelica?" I heard a familiar voice, and I froze in my place. Cindy. What was she doing here? Right. Her father was also one of the millennials and must've been invited by the organizers. I saw Boss Ericson looking at me from the corner of his eyes, and I bowed apologetically before turning. However, I wished I hadn't. Cindy wasn't alone. She stood there with her arms hooked around Tyler, who looked at me with discomfort. "Hello, Cindy. Tyler," I nodded at both of them, masking the pain I felt, remembering the betrayal. "How have you been?" Cindy asked like I was one of her best friends, and I deliberately widened my eyes. "Good. In fact, better than before. It feels so fresh and warm now that I am out of those narcissistic shackles, college, I mean," I licked my lips. "I hope you got the job you were aiming for," I looked at Tyler. I was aware he didn’t, and he was insulted in the company because he tried to use the connections to make his way up. I smiled internally when I saw the expressions on the couple’s faces freezing. "I would've stayed to catch up, but I am here with my bosses," I smiled at them before turning to my bosses, who were talking to their clients. As soon as I walked to them and the clients left, Boss Dylan placed his hand on my lower waist before pulling me close, and I looked into his eyes with my wide ones. I wanted to tell him to stop touching me like this because it was making me feel things that I shouldn’t. "You are quite famous, aren't you?" His hot breath fanned the side of my face, making me gulp. "I... I..." "Dance?" He asked, his words striking a memory that I felt like I had buried deep inside. Without waiting for my reply, Boss Dylan took me to the dance floor and placed his hand on my waist, turning me around swiftly so I was facing others with my back close to his chest. This familiar position, the familiar touch of his hands, and - "Is it bad that I can't control this urge anymore? This urge to claim you?" Boss Dylan hummed the song, and my entire body felt electrocuted. While trying to control my drumming heart, my gaze met Boss Ericson's, who leaned on the food counter with a soft drink. He took a sip of his drink, his eyes never leaving mine. It was as if he was enjoying the show, and I didn't know if I hated it. "I am not sure what you are -" "You know what I am talking about, Angel," Boss Dylan said, and I turned around abruptly. "What did you say?" "Angel, short of Angelica. It's your name, right?" Boss Dylan asked, and I gulped before nodding. Sh*t. Something was wrong with me. I shouldn't have drank those glasses of wine earlier. Now, they are messing with my head, and I can't seem to be in control of my thoughts anymore. What kind of magic had that man two days ago done on me? Why do I keep seeing, feeling, and hearing him everywhere? "Have you danced enough? Should I take my turn?" Boss Ericson’s words brought me out of my thoughts, his body so close to mine that I could almost feel the heat seeping through his clothes. Before I could understand anything, he held my hand before pulling me roughly. My chest collided with Boss Ericson's, and my hands were immediately on his upper chest to control the impact. I looked up at him with wide eyes, his amber eyes capturing my brown ones in a way that I never felt was possible. I had never thought I had a fetish for eye colors until I met my bosses and that mysterious man. "Brother, be gentle," Boss Dylan stood right behind me, and I felt squished. I felt pleasurably squished. "Should I be gentle, Angelica?" Boss Ericson asked, and I don't know if it was just me, but this question felt like it had multiple meanings, and I gulped, not knowing what to say. "I am not that good of a dancer," I whispered instead, and Boss Ericson grabbed my chin. "But I can lead you into a good tempo," he said, and I looked at him wide-eyed. I might not have much experience in these things, but I am sure this was not an innocent statement. This sentence, I gulped, my raging heart making my chest heave up and down, rubbing my br*asts against his chest. I was cornered by the two brothers. Why was no one doing or saying anything here? Was it okay for two guys to be with one girl? I thought before mentally slapping myself at the weird sentence I had thought about. Geez, maybe I am thinking too much about things. He must've not meant to say things like that. It sounded like that because of their lack of social skills. I nodded at myself. "Okay, enough. Let's eat something," Boss Ericson said, and I nodded. "Are you feeling okay now? We felt your uneasiness around that couple earlier," Boss Dylan asked as soon as we reached the food aisle. So they were just distracting me? How thoughtful of them to even care about it. My heart warmed, and I smiled at them. "Thank you. I am fine," After staying at the party for another half hour, we returned to our building and entered the lift. "Your reporting time at the office is 8:30 am. Don't be late. Try to be early to understand the things in the office and how they work," Boss Ericson said. "Okay, sir. I will do my best," I exited the elevator first. "Have a good night, sir," I said before unlocking the door with my key. I was about to enter my house when Sir Dylan held my hand. "Coffee? Unofficial," he asked, and I looked at Boss Ericson, who had already gone inside the apartment. "Your place or mine?" I asked. I honestly didn’t mind it, and he motioned to their apartment. "Can I get changed first?" I asked, and he let go of my hand before nodding and returning to his apartment. After changing into my night clothes, which consisted of my pajamas and a loose top, I knocked on their door, and Boss Ericson scrunched his brows. "What is it?" he asked, now wearing his half-face mask, and I felt strangely awkward. "Come in, Angel. I called her for a cup of coffee. Don't you think it gets boring with just the two of us?" Sir Dylan asked, and I walked inside when Sir Ericson gave way. After making coffee for the three of us, I walked to the living room, where my bosses were busy picking a movie. "Come sit. It's been so long since we last watched a movie," Sir Dylan said, patting the space between him and Ericson, and I gulped before nodding. I sat between them, feeling awkward again with our proximity. It was uncomfortable, not because I didn’t like it, but because it made my heart flutter with how nervous I was. "Get comfortable, Li. This is off office hours," Sir Dylan said, and I crossed my legs, accidentally brushing them against Sir Ericson, who looked at me darkly, scaring me a bit. Damn. What had I gotten myself into? I sighed.
