Sofia's Point of View
"You, Sofia. You are my Mate," Ethan said. I couldn't believe what he was telling me. How could I be his Mate? I was only a human, and Ethan hated me. Ethan was silently watching me. I knew he was letting me take in what he had just told me. I didn't know what to say. I was so shocked.
"So, that's why you are being nice to me now because of some mate bond?" I asked.
"Sof."
Mandy picked that moment to come into the room with our drinks. "Your food will be ready shortly," Mandy said as she smiled at Ethan, and then she left.
I could feel Ethan's eyes on me as I took a sip of my sweet tea. I wouldn't look at him. I didn't know how to feel about all of this.
