As soon as I walk into the marketing department, I’m warmly greeted, everyone looking happy to have me. I am a bit confused at first, but Marc guides me to the empty desk in the middle of their open space and helps me get set up.
“Everyone knows you saved us on the Brownie marketing plan… We got an earful from our director afterwards, but it could have been a lot worse! Plus, even without that we all get help from the secretaries’ office numerous times a week. Today it’s like we got one super-secretary lady just for us, so, don’t worry and just settle yourself in!”
“Thank you so much for having me,” I say, a bit louder for everyone to hear.
“Welcome to you!” Replies one of Marc’s colleagues, followed by pretty much everyone there.
I smile and nod happily, relieved by the warm welcome
