Zion’s POV Waking up that morning felt different; there was a hint of optimism in the air, or maybe it was just me finally seeing the light at the end of what felt like a very long tunnel. “Oh gracious God, it’s morning already.” I whispered to myself. I stretched, a smile creeping onto my face as I thought about myself making progress with Camila. The hope of getting her back, of kindling what I should have once had with her, made getting out of bed easier. She seemed to be softening up, but I knew I still had a long time to go.
