Chapter 10
The first five days in the East Kingdom have been pretty great on the whole, King Julius is already insisting that I call him dad. He says he always wanted a daughter, and now he has been blessed with two. Yeah, he does adore Casandra and her aunt, but I guess with Katerina being his mate, he doesn’t have much choice on that.
Queen Katerina and Casandra have been busy trying to pick fault with me and wind me up in a way that is so subtle that the men who think the sun shines out of their a.sses fail to notice. They do stick up for me when they think that I have been ‘misunderstood’ by them, but they think they are just trying to be helpful and make things easier for me to settle in in the new place and find my feet.
