"This is my husband, Tom," Leah introduced him. "He handles all the security stuff over here."
"Nice to meet you both," he smiled. "Are you ready to get started? Your first day of class is tomorrow, remember?"
"Yes, I am," I said. "Thank you again for letting me come to your school."
"No problem," he replied. "Now go ahead and take a seat. You might want to leave some time to read through some of the material before then."
The next few days seemed to fly by quickly. My first day of classes went really well. I guess I could say that I was even surprised to learn how much I enjoyed math. That was something I never thought I would ever say!
The second day of class was a little different. Mrs. Cameron had me come to her office during lunch. She sat across from me while I ate my sandwich.
