Janet patted her bed signaling Barney to hop up and join her. It was around ten. Neil had dropped her off an hour ago. They had driven to Lincoln City and spent the day window-shopping in gift shops lining the streets along the harbor inlet. Neil looked for artwork to brighten up his living room walls.
