1 MONTH LATERI’ve been back at Valley Nursing Home a month now, and I’m slowly getting my strength back and can now easily wheel myself around in my chair. My stutter is fading, but I still have an issue sometimes with words starting with th, ch, and sh. As for my memory, there are still some blank holes to fill in, mostly around the day of the accident, which Ben tells me may or may never come back. Speaking of Ben, my sessions with him have evolved to the point where I’m about ready to bring up my alternate life in the coma. Although I have my real children back, my thoughts are predominately on Monie, my mother, my children, and all the others who were part of my other life.
