Chloe
The date had been a bad idea from the very start. I had known it from the moment he had picked me up from my front door. He had tried to act like a gentleman but his eyes didn’t leave my cleavage. And it had only got worse from then.
I had been polite, tried to make small talk . The entire time vowing to never go out with him again. He was handsome sure, but he just didn’t do it for me. There was no spark there and it made me feel uncomfortable to have him touch me at every possible moment.
But it wasn’t under his hand slid under my skirt that I had said anything and that is when it had gone from bad to worse.
“Please remove you hand.” I tried to swat it away. And it slipped up even further. “Come on Chloe, let’s not pretend that you don’t want it….”
I threw my drink straight into his face. I didn’t get a chance to do anything else. The door of the restaurant banged open. Hitting the wall and bouncing off and Crow came barrelling in. Looking every bit the bull in a china shop.
“Crow?” What was he doing here? This wasn’t the part of town I would have thought he frequented.
He didn’t listen though, his nostrils flared . The anger rolled off of him in waves as he picked my date up by the throat. “What the f**k did you do to her?”
This couldn’t be happening. I stood up so quickly that my chair fell back. A strange silence had fallen as people turned to look.
“Crow.” Softly I touched his back. “Crow we have to go, we are causing a scene.” I needed him to look at me. I didn’t know why he was here but I knew we had to get out of here. If the management decided to call the police,Crow would spend the night in lock up and he could wave good bye to any chance of gaining custody of his son. That wasn’t something I could let happen.
“Crow.” I said it sharper and finally he turned to look at me, loosing his grip enough to let my handsy date breathe.
“Did he hurt you?” His voice was steely. And I knew I had to be careful about what I said next.
Crow looked ready to murder. And I didn’t think it would take much to set him off. “No, no he didn’t Crow.” I let myself touch him again. And this time he glanced down at my hand. “Please can we go. I would like to go home.”
He nodded once. His fingers finally letting go. “I’ll take you home.” He held out his hand and I took it instinctively. “Minute?”
It was only then that I noticed the younger man.
“I’ll sort it. I have cash on me.”
I didn’t even get a chance to ask what Be would sort before Crow started dragging me from the restaurant. But I was betting it was hush money so the management didn’t phone the police.
“Are you hurt?” Crow stopped suddenly, whirling about so he could pull me towards him.
“No Crow, I’ve told you that.” I sighed as his hands starting running down my arms. I knew what he was doing. Just like I knew his type. He didn’t believe or maybe he couldn’t believe me. He needed to check for himself.
There was absolutely no use in fighting it.
“You’re ok?”
I smiled . “I told you I was…. But Crow as grateful as I am for the rescue what were you doing here?”
For a second he looked sheepish. Running his hand through his hair. “Just passing by and I saw you throw your drink in his face.”
Bullshit.
He was lying to me. I didn’t know why he was lying but he was.
“I told you the doctors of this world aren’t for you Chloe… I told you.” His voice lowered and the hands that had been checking me over for injuries suddenly pulled me against his front.
“And you are?” I could feel him , hard and long pressed against my stomach. I didn’t want to be turned on but I couldn’t help it.
“Yeah…..”
He hadn’t been passing , he had been looking for me I realised in a rush. Crow, liked me. Was interested in me. It was that sobering thought that made me step back from him.
It was ok when I thought it was just about s*x. But now I had suspicions he might want something more than a one night stand it changed things.
Because I could not and would not go there. No matter how much my body was screaming at me to give in. Just for one night.
“Well thanks Crow. I’m going to head home…..” I dismissed him.
He didn’t miss a beat. “I’ll walk you to your car.”
“I don’t have my car I’m going to….” He didn’t let me finish. “Like hell you are . I’ll take you home.” He eyed me curiously. As I stared at the two bikes across the street.
His bike was beautiful.
“You don’t have to be scared of it Chloe. I’ll ….” He paused as I started to laugh. His eyes narrowed. “What?”
“You think I don’t know how to ride a bike? I’ve been on plenty of bikes Crow.”
He looked like he didn’t believe me, and I I didn’t blame him. I knew I didn’t look like the type.
“Prove it.”
I had missed this. The rumble of a powerful machine between my thighs, the smell of leather and petrol mingling as I pressed my cheek against his back. I held onto him. Not tightly but just enough. Keeping myself tucked into his back ski would cause no resistance.
It had been years but what did they say? You never forget how to ride a bike? It was true .
But god I had missed it. I was sad when the bike finally slowed .
He hadn’t taken me home though. The building in front of me couldn’t be anything but the club house.
“Crow.” Tearing the helmet he had made me wear from my head I hopped from the bike. His eyes darted down to my thighs. Where my dress had risen up obscenely high. I glared at him. “This isn’t where I live.”
“I know.”
“So why are we here?”
He didn’t answer as first, but his smile spoke volumes. “To party . Told you there was one tonight.”
Curling my lip I c****d my hip out as I placed the helmet into his waiting hands.
“You weren’t lying about being around bikes huh?”
I threw back my head and laughed. “I told you I wasn’t. Stick around I’ll give you lessons.”
His eyes darkened. And I blushed. Why ya it sounded so dirty ?
“I’ll look forward to it.” His hand came around my hip. “After we have partied.”
“Crow….”
“Come on Chloe. You are all dressed up and have no where to go. Why don’t you let loose a little?”
Yeah why didn’t I?
