Sold.
Like an animal at a livestock auction. I’d seen it in HoloMovies I’d watched on Earth’s history. I’d even seen footage of humans actually being sold as slaves as well. I shuddered.
Livestock were usually being sold to be slaughtered, except the horses, of course. So what did they want with people? What did he want with me? I shuddered again. What else would a male be buying a female for?
