Leah hadn’t expected to see Frederick on the beach.
After parking her car, she changed into her swimsuit in the villa, grabbed the surfing gear the butler had prepared, and headed down a path lined with palm and coconut trees. From a distance, she could already see Frederick lounging on a beach chair, along with Harrison, Vincent, Eric, and a few others.
The first to notice her was Vincent, who was surfing at the time. He jumped off his board and walked toward her, calling out, “Leah! When did you get here?”
Leah knew Vincent. He was a doctor and one of Frederick’s friends. He had even brought medicine to Orchard View Villa once when she had a cold.
