“Hey,” said Kiko as he entered and set Mother on the floor. The goose waddled off; Dom heard Kiko lock and then check the door. “Hey,” said Dom. He scooted over. “Come here.” Kiko slid into the breakfast nook’s booth next to him and began to loosen his tie. Dom put his arm around him, resting his hand against Kiko’s side, and felt the man relax against him. It felt good to be close like this.
