Chapter 4
Dom didn’t offer anything Sunday morning, and Kiko didn’t try to wake him. When he did stir, Kiko told him to go back to sleep, although he did do it gently. Dom was unsurprised when he did wake to find Travis still in bed.
He decided to make himself a big breakfast and leave none for Travis and his uninvited guest. Dom had always struggled to cook, but there were a few recipes he both could cook and knew well enough, and while omelets were beyond him, he could definitely scramble eggs. He was tempted to blare angry music while he cooked but in the end decided not to; let them sleep on unaware.
