CJ's POV

I was so nervous while driving to school, because today is the day I will ask Sam to be my official girlfriend. Hopefully the outcome of our performance will be good, because my friends are all goofy last night while we're practicing.

Flashback....

"Yow bro! What yo' need?" Zai greeted when she walked into my room without even knocking.

I stood up and gave her a hug, then I took a deep breath before speaking. "Dude I want Sam to be my girlfriend officially. And I need your help." I answered.

"Wow.. finally.. you have a balls now." She joked.

I chuckled at that. " Dude I'm still a woman! I don't have balls! You know that.."

"F*ck you! Not literally balls of a man! You dumbass!" And she throw a pillow in my face. "By the way did you tell it to squad?" She asked.

"Ah yeah I called them--" I didn't had a chance to finish what I was about to say when someone suddenly opened the door of my room.

"Yow bitches! What's with the call?" Keisha yelled as she stepped in and Anna behind her.

We approached them and kissed their foreheads, then I went back to sitting on the side of the bed. "Oh well our friend here.. are soooo bothered if how will she ask Samantha to be her girlfriend." Zai said sarcastically.

"Okay? Then.. what can we do for you my friend?" Anna asked and sat beside me in my bed.

I stir around and sat in a stride position to face Anna. "Well guys.. look! I called you because-" I didn't finish what I was saying for the second time when we heard someone fighting outside my bedroom door.

"How dare you to push me!"

"Excuse me??? I didn't pushed you! You're just really stupid!"

"I saw you dumbass!"

"No I'm not! You know what? You're beautiful, but you're annoying as f**k!"

"I know I'm gorgeous! You don't have to tell me that!"

I stood up and stopped in the middle of my door with my arms crossed. "Tapos na ba kayo mag away?" I asked them who had stopped the quarrel of the two newcomers. It's obvious who they are.

"Yow! What's up?" Yhen greeted and we did the bro hug, then she kissed the girl's forehead.

"Hi guys.. Why am I here too?" Claire asked. We all approached her to greet her with a kiss on the forehead and a hug.

"Of course you were Samantha's best friend, so you are involved in this and because I want to ask her to be my girlfriend." I simply explained at her.

"So.. what are we going to do?" She asked again.

"So.. As I was saying, I want Sam to be my girlfriend and I need your help guys." I explained again with a troubled face. They started to think while holding their chins.

"Aha! I know!" Claire exclaimed and made us all startled. "Why don't we perform a dance?"

"You think of it, then why don't you do it!" Yhen contrary. Claire would have answered when Anna spoke in front of her so she just glare at Yhen.

"Claire's right. We should perform a dance at the gym while Samantha is watching. We all know how to dance right?" Anna agreed with Claire.

We nodded at the same time but Yhen just murmuring incomprehensible words in the corner.

"But what song are we going to dance to" Keisha asked.

"Macarena!" Yhen suggested. All ofbus walked towards her and smacked her head. "Ouch! Guys! what the hell was that for?!" She scowled.

"Dying Inside to hold you, the revived one, what do you think?." I suggest. They stopped for a moment, as if trying to remember the song I said.

"Ooohhh.. now I know what's that song." Zai said after being stunned for a moment. "Yhen will be our choreographer." She said as she pointed at hlYhen.

"Me??" Yhen exclaimed while pointing at herself.

"A-huh" we said in unison except from Claire. She didn't know that among the five of us, Yhen was the best dancer.

"As if I had a choice! Let's go to my dance studio." She said defeatedly.

She also has her own dance studio that she built for this situation. But there are also those who enrolled there because she also hired other choreographers.

When we arrived at Yhen's dance studio, we could hardly agree on the dance step because we did nothing but to laugh every time one of us made a mistake.

After 7 hours of practice we finally agreed on the step of what we will dance. We first decided to go back home to rest and eat dinner to talk about other tricks we will do.

When we got home, they gave another suggestions for me to add to what we were going to do. but just like earlier, we have almost nothing to decide because we mixed our topic with nonsense banter, until they decide to go home after they have dinner.

So at the end of the day, I left alone thinking what should I do. haaayyyy I'm just hoping that it'll be successful.

End of Flashback ...

So I hope the outcome of what we're gonna do today will be good. When I arrived at the parking lot I saw Samantha's car so I knew she was already here at university.

I stayed in my car and wait for my friends. Then Claire and Zai arrived. Keisha and Anna's car also entered one after other.

I decided to go down and approach them smiling nervously. "Hey good morning guys .. are you ready?" I asked them after I hug them and kiss the girls on their forehead. We do the same with Claire because she's no different from us at all.

"Are you ready to get rejected? "Zai joked, which she earned smacks and scolding from Anna and Keisha.

"The dumb isn't here yet?" Claire said to me more on a statement than a question. The four of us looked at each other meaningfully before I spoke.

"Now you're waiting for her huh?" I said teasingly.

"What? Why should I wait for that stupid?! I'm just worried that she'll ditch us to ruin our plan." Claire explained defensively, making us all to laugh.

"Yhen will never do that-."

"I heard my name.. What did I missed?" Yhen suddenly popped out from behind.

"Nothing much aside from Claire looking for—."

"I think we should go, Samantha might see us here!" Claire said a bit loudly to interrupt what I was saying and she turn her heels, but before she could take one step, she glanced at Yhen and rolled her eyes then she continue her way.

"What did I do?" Yhen asked confusedly, I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and tugged her with us towards the gym without answering her question.

"You didn't do anything bro. You're just too handsome that's why she treat you like that." Zai said while we're on our way, Claire looked over her shoulder to roll her eyes once again which made us all laugh.

When we got to the gym, I talked to all of our accomplices. We also arranged the set up in the Gym so that everything would be in order. We're just waiting for Sam to arrive.

I'm seriously dying and nervous.

SAMANTHA's POV

It's been a week since CJ and I had a jealous moment. Actually I was the only one who was jealous then and to be honest, after that day, she began more careful to her actions every time I'm just around and I'm not complaining because I know that even if I'm not looking at her, she know how to distance herself from all the girls in this university.

I was wondering while walking to our classroom because CJ's squad usually come in early, but this morning they were not here yet. Even Claire didn’t go with me either. It seems like my day is going on quietly today.

When I got in front of our room, I saw Arc standing there holding another flower. Haaayyy.. He's still not giving up, I already told him that I don't feel anything towards him, many times, I don't want him to lead into something and in the end, he'll get hurt. I can't feel even a bit of affection towards him, even if he became the sweetest man in the world, I still won't have feelings for him and I told him that. I know it's kinda mean because he was nice to me, but I'm just being true to myself.

When he saw me, he immediately approached me with a smile. "Good morning Sam. Flowers for a gorgeous like you." He said as he handed me the flower.

"Thank you Arc." I said as I took it from his hand and give him a little smile.

"Maybe now I can invite you to a dinner? It's my mom's birthday. And she wants to meet you Sam." He said. Before I could talk he cut me off. "Please Sam?" He said pleading.

"Ah Arc--" Before I could finish my words, a student approached us and gave me a piece of paper.

"Samantha, someone told me to give it to you." He said and run away quickly.

"Go to the bench where I started courting you."

I automatically smiled because I already knew who it was, after I read it, my gaze darted up to Arc, who's staring at me questioningly.

"Uhm Arc. I'm sorry but I have to go." I didn't wait for his response as I run quickly to the field where the bench was located, when I got there, I saw another note sticking on it.

"Remember the day when I finally asked you if I can court you? and you didn't utter a word but your action saying that I can." .

I flipped the piece of paper and there's another written on it.

"go to cafeteria where we used to eat lunch everyday."

Then I run as fast as I can to the cafeteria, I saw another note on the table where we used to have lunch with the whole squad.

"Remember the day that I made a scene here and telling everyone that you're the only girl that I like.."

Yeah, I can still vividly remember that day, as usual, I got jealous, because the captain of the women's basketball tried to hit with CJ in front of me, asking if they could go out sometimes, I snapped out and walk away from the cafeteria, but just before I could finally left the place, CJ started to make a scene out of a sudden.

"Guys listen! That woman walking out the door!" She said while pointing at me. "She's the only woman I wanted but she doesn't want to believe, what do you think I should do to make her believe in me?" She yelled, then every students inside the cafeteria jeered, my face turned into a ripe tomatoes for how red it was. That day was so embarrassing for me but it feels good at the same time.

behind the sticky note, there's another in it so I flip it over.

"Go to the Gym. Where you burst out because of jealousy."

I decided to walk in not so fast but not so slow pace towards the gym, and while I'm making my way to it, I saw lot of students outside wearing different colours of shirt and my face printed on it. I can feel my face started to blushed just by seeing it.

Then when I got inside the gymnasium, one student approached me and handed me a bouquet of roses and a chair, he asked me to sit there and wait. When he vanished from the corner, the light suddenly turned off and I could see nothing aside from the lights coming out from the glass window on top of the gym but not enough light to see what's in front of me.

My shocked replaced with smiles when I saw five person ran to the stage and the spotlight pointed at them. They all wearing a mask covering their faces and a black hoodies.

I am hella sure that they are CJ's squad, but there are three noticeable females in front and two lesbians, then suddenly, there's another one strutting her way to the stage in rush.

I heard my best friend's voice, scolding the one who just got arrived. "You're really trying to ruin this!" She scowled under her mask.

"What can I do? I need to use the bathroom because I was too nervous!" Yhen retaliates.

"You act like you're Samantha's suitor!"

"Why do you care? I'm going to perform, am I not allow to get nervous?"

"That's enough! Both of you, shut it!" another woman rebuked them and based on her appearance, she seems to be Anna. Those two couldn't stop themselves but to banter in every chance they could have.

When everyone began to silent, the music started to play and they started to dance. In fairness, they dance so smooth that they seemed practicing their steps for a whole month.

It's turning out just another day

When the song ended, they made a cute pose at the end and everyone clapped their hands loudly, the lights turned on one by one, giving me the whole view of the squad. My lips almost break for how wide my smile while looking proudly at my friends.

CJ walked forward towards me while holding a microphone that I didn't even noticed where that came from.

She came closer with trembling hands but still guided me to stand on my feet, then she removed her mask and smiled at me widely. She heaved a deep breath and exhales before speaking.

"Samantha..." She paused and gulped hard. As if there's something in her throat that's choking her. And then afterwards she cleared her throat. She even nervously chuckled before she proceeds again.

"Uhm.. Sam.. It's been a month and.. Do you still remember the first time we met? After that incident bumped,and saw that blue eyes of yours I knew to my self that I like you, ah..wait! let me rephrase that. I knew that I love you.. I know it's kinda early for me to say that even though we just met that day I can finally said that you.. Samantha Gail Thompson captured my heart.. so.. now," she stopped again and looked at the squad.

I followed her gaze and saw the squad lined up and there's something written in their shirt.

I was really confused upon reading it one by one as per how they lined up. "Guys what the hell? You're ruining the moment!" CJ yelled and they simultaneously looked down to their shirt before bursting into loud laughter but at the same time, fixed what they supposed to fix. They even bumped into each other while looking for their right spot and when they are already in the right place, they smiled at CJ apologetically.

I looked back to CJ when she cleared my throat, she's already bend over, with her one knee on the floor and the other one is folded while she's holding one long stem red rose that I don't even know where she get that again.

"Samantha?" She said, breaking the silence.

I bit my lower lip before I answered. "Yes CJ. I can be your girlfriend" Her narrowed eyes slowly widened and she sprung up from the floor to engulf me tightly.

"Yes! She said Yes guys! Finally.. Were officially couple! Wooohhh!"

She happily yelled to all the students who's lucky enough to witness how their team captain in volleyball burst into tears of joy. They cheered for us and clapped their hands together.

I buried my face onto CJ's chest in embarassment, not because she made a big scene that for sure will be the talk in the whole university, but because my friends are looking at me teasingly. CJ then hug me again, more tightly.

"Thank you Samantha." She whispered.

Then all of our friends joined us, they squeezed us in the middle while congratulating us.

"Samantha! Congratulation." Claire jumped on me and engulfed me tightly. "Finally, you already have the rights to get jealous!" She added and we both laugh at that because it's actually true.

"Crazy!" I said while giggling.

Even if there's a bit mistake in the proposal, it's still successful, and even if CJ didn't do something like this, I will still give her my yes because I knew that I like her from the very start.

Finaly! We're officially couple...
