Ten more minutes later, when Grey assumed the entire study body was there, he began the assembly. He called the teachers when it was their turn, and the same for students. He made eye contact with Levi, and Levi shook his head.
Forty minutes into the assembly, when Grey talked about the upcoming exams for specific students, one of the double doors opened, and Slaine came in. Although he looked inhuman, he was a human. Slaine didn’t say a word as he walked in and took a seat in the first free chair.
The rest of the assembly finished, and students began piling out. Grey smiled at them as some said they were glad he was back. Levi walked over, slightly tense.
“The bond is here,” he whispered.
