“Make sure you wipe it thoroughly,” Alex instructed the maid. A few minutes after Louis had left, a maid knocked on the door to clean Alex’s room. It was common knowledge that he wouldn’t use his room if it wasn’t cleaned after having someone in it. “Yes, Your Majesty,” she said with a curtsy. Alex felt bad for the maid. It seems like she was always cleaning his room. What was her name again? Rebecca? He didn’t even remember calling her, but there she was—wiping down the sofa and airing out the room in record time. Alex sighed and waited by the door as she finished. It was all Louis’s fault that she had to keep doing this. His stupid little brother knew better than to come into his room.
