Kemper and Kitten lived in a small cottage on the property. It once served as the home of the property manager who cared for the place until it was sold to me. “Cared for” is a vague term that seemed to have meant that he simply lived there and let nature and vandals do as they pleased to the property and the buildings thereon. The cottage was in fact larger than the main house and smaller than the barn I converted to living and entertainment headquarters. Its main feature was a playroom that the previous owner had used for multiple purposes, including but not restricted to punishing the property manager and his willing wife.
