The Oath.
Lily did give me breathing space immediately there was a ray of light coming from the windows, she was eager to perform the welcoming activities for the new arrival so they can be fully part of the pack. It is always an important thing for any new member of a pack to take an oath before their wolf accepts another person as a leader, so l have to make sure that l do the needful. They all know it is very important if they want to belong to the pack.
