Vampire King's Love

Ch2: Introduction

Mathew came running down from the street to his house, he runs upstairs to find the man that was sleeping peacefully in his bedroom. It is nervousness, fear on Mathew's face. He finally reaches the door of his room after running from several corridors of the big mansion.

He hesitates for a second then he knocked on the door of his room, "Sir, Sir!!!" Mathew said in a low tone when he didn't get a reply from the other side. He said a bit louder "Sir, Sir, Saphire!!!" he can now listen to the movement from inside it means he is in there.

He was sleeping peacefully until he listens to the footsteps of someone coming from downstairs, he moves in his bed a bit but he didn't wake up from his sleep. The girl that was lying beside him shifted a bit, but she also didn't wake up.

It was a long night he enjoyed himself with the girl that is like his all one-night stands or his prey. He was drifting back to sleep when he listens to Mathew's irritating voice, he doesn't want to wake up nor he wants to answer Mathew but he didn't leave. He again said his name Mathew is disturbing his sleep that means it will be something important.

His broad back that is bared, he was sleeping with his face in his pillow, his broad shoulders all his back and muscles is a view to watch with the tattoo of a devil and fire.  He shifted from his position to look up at the ceiling, he is not wearing anything, his body is cold. He looks upwards his dark brown eyes with golden lines give the shade of red. He moved his hands in front of his eyes, his ring was not there. He moved the blanket from his body, he sits on his bed look at the girl that was still deep in sleep a smirk came upon his lips. He stands up from the bed, put on his pants that are thrown last night on the floor, he opened the door.

A very nervous Mathew is standing there waiting for him to open the door, he looks at him in a questioning manner.

"What is it, Mathew? Why are you here?" He said in an irritated tone... 

"Sir, the councilmen are here, they cross our territory a few minutes back. I thought it would be better if you talk to them this time." He informed Saphire.

"Okay!!! Mathew. I will talk to them today. Stop being so coward you are a vampire, not a human anymore so be strong." He said to Mathew like always but he knows Mathew will be like that.

"Also, I have work for you." He said to him. "Yes, sir anything," Mathew said,

"Go to the witches village, Ask Margaret about my ring. She will give it to you get it back to me. I have some work in the town today, so I will be needing my ring. Also, ask Margaret that if she finds her or not." He instructed him, Mathew nodded his head he was going downstairs when suddenly, Saphire moved in his vampire speed. He put him both hands-on Mathew's shoulders, he jumped like a scared cat.

Saphire started laughing loudly, "oh freak!!! Saphire stops doing that, one day you will give me a heart attack." Mathew said his one hand on his heart, Saphire stop laughing.

"You can not die from a heart attack, you are not a human anymore," Sapphire said again and start laughing, Mathew also laughed with him. They both came downstairs, "I am going to clean up my self in Morgan's room. You ask Bethany to clean my room." He winked to Mathew, moved towards the right corridor of the house.

Mathew's mind linked his wife Bethany to clear King's room, it's almost her usual work. Only a few people are allowed in his room, that is for a reason.

(In the town)

Morgan is sitting on his chair, his hands working on a paper with a pencil. It is a beautiful drawing of a girl who is laughing, her beauty is the thing also visible in the sketch. Morgan Cornwall, he completed the sketch with his signature. He tried to move up from his seat when two hands snaked down in his neck, he smells the air. A smile appeared on Morgan's face, he holds both the hands kissed them. He lightly pulls the figure from behind him, the beautiful girl makes an ouch sound, she tripped a bit. Morgan pulls her from her waist she is now sitting on his lap.

"Athena, I didn't hear you came? You came too quietly." He said in a soft tone, "Yes, I came a bit ago. But, you were so busy in your sketch that you didn't notice me." She said and made a pout. He makes her closer, he starts looking her in the eyes, "you don't know Athena, these eyes can do wonders." He mumbled, he becomes close to her kissed her on lips.

Athena kissed him back, but she mumbled something in his lips. Morgan moved away, "Morgan, I have to go to college, I am being late. I just came here to see you." She said in a statement, "Athena, you are angry till now, I just asked you to wait for a bit."

She stands up from his lap, she moved a bit away from his chair walk near the bookshelf.

"Morgan, it's been 2 years. We are in a relationship, I know you are sincere with me. But, I can not wait any longer now. You have to talk to your brother about me now."

She repeated the same sentence again, Morgan was a bit startled by her wish a few weeks ago when she asked him to meet his brother, he also wants her to meet his family that is his only brother. But he never told his brother about being in a relationship with a girl, now if he suddenly told him about Athena, he will be a bit shocked.

He requested Athena for being patient for some time, it's been two weeks, his brother is busy with some work so he was not able to talk to him, now she is here asking him again.

"Okay, Baby don't be upset. I will talk to my brother tomorrow I promise." He said moved near her, he put his head on her shoulder she looks him, a very cute smile was on Morgan's face. She smiled, "okay, That is fine. Stop being so cute. You are melting my heart now." She said in a loving tone, he hugged her.

Athena moved away from him, "Morgan I have to go now, it's the time for class. I love you bye." She said and moved out of his room.

Morgan sits on his chair thinking about all the situations. He never told Athena about his brother, that he belongs to the Royal family that rules the empire. He told her that he has a brother who loves him so much, his brother is so protective of him. But he never mentioned him about being the king of vampires, not only a king but a warrior. Everyone in the supernatural world knows him, Saphire Cornwall.

Morgan lives in a small apartment in town, he is a man who wants to learn different things. He is living in this town from four years completing his graduation in arts, he hid from the ever possible eye that can recognize him as the second prince of the empire.

Now, when suddenly Athena wishes to meet his brother, he is a bit nervous when she will know that he is the brother of Saphire Cornwall, what will be her reaction?

He came out of his thoughts when someone tried to mind link him, "brother, what are you thinking? I am trying to connect... but you are not on the line." Saphire said from another side, "Sorry, Sir!!!' Morgan said, " Hey, hey!!! Don't sir me. I am your brother." Sapphire said, Morgan, smiled because he knows his brother's reaction to his words as usual.

"Okay!!! Haha, bro. How are you? How did you remember me today from your busy schedule?"

He asked from his brother through their link. "Yes, councilmen are here. I want you to come home for some time, you understand what I am saying?" He asked his little brother in a serious tone.

"Yes sir, I am coming home. Don't worry." Morgan said to his brother,

"Waiting for you." His brother said and cut their link. He gets up from his seat, he texted Athena that he is going for some work. He put his belongings in his small bag, he put his hoodie on so no one can notice him. He moved out of the apartment, start walking toward the street that goes down in the forest. After some time he becomes a shadow, then he can shed in the air due to his speed no one noticed him. . .
