Ch7: The Cure

She is standing in front of the mirror, curling his beautiful brown locks Athena wore a black dress that is short to her knees with eyelashes lace, her curves are visible in the dress slimming sheath style, the full-zip back, she thought it is suitable for a formal occasion like a dinner. She did smokey eyes with light makeup put red lipstick on, Athena completed her look with little golden earrings, her daylight ring, the most important her beautiful bracelet that is a gift from Morgan. Athena wore high black heels and took a little black clutch in her hand, she is looked at herself in the mirror, she gave an admired look to herself. Now, she just has to wait for Morgan to arrive so they can get to their place... Athens is feeling very excited but a little bit nervous too, but she has to make an expression that his brother didn't reject her... Morgan always told about his brother being so protective about him, she doesn't want to mess up anything for Morgan. Athena encouraged herself to be confident in front of his family. She also is thinking about Morgan when he sees her like this, she didn't usually get ready like this... A shiver runs down her spine when she thinks of him being intimate with her...

The weather outside is so fascinating. The light cool breeze, it's foggy outside with the start of the evening, stars twinkling in the skies, the sun setting slowly in the west the town is covered in romantic weather, a few people walking on the streets, going back to there houses. It is a small town a little far from the city people live here in peace, it's a very deep and dark forest near the town. So many animals and monsters lie in the forest people of this town usually don't go in the forest after sunset.

Morgan is walking on the street to go back to his apartment in the town, he was in the city to meet with one of his correspondents. He completed his work there a few hours ago... Morgan talked with Sapphire last night about a surprise through there mind link.

"Hi, brother, Are you there?" Morgan asked through the link, but Saphire didn't respond immediately. He took a little time to answer Morgan,

"Brother, where are you? Why are you not answering me?" Morgan inquired in a worried tone, Sapphire never did this he always answer Morgan in first go...

"Yes, brother I am fine. How are you doing?" Sapphire said after some time, Morgan feel his voice a bit down,

"King, what happened? You sound not good..." Morgan again said,

"No brother. I am all fine, you know me. I was in the middle of something, you guess what???" Sapphire chuckled, A smile crept on Morgan's face.

"Oh, brother I am sorry!!! I think I disturbed you, we can talk later about it, " Morgan chuckled he said in humor,

"Morgan, you are the most important person, everything and everyone can wait!!! Say what is it?" Sapphire said in a loved tone but his voice deep,

"Brother, the thing is... I want you to meet someone." Morgan said to his brother, his voice a little hesitated.

"Yeah, boy that's not a problem. You take that someone in Empire, we can arrange a nice dinner. By the way, who is this someone? Is he a friend of yours?." Sapphire asked from his younger brother,

"No brother, not a friend. The thing is..." There was a nervousness in Morgan's voice, Sapphire felt that,

"Morgan, I hope you don't repeat your mistake again, humans are not allowed in the Empire... You can bring any supernatural creature here, that will not be a problem." Sapphire made a statement,

"No!!! no, brother. Not a human!!! She is a girl. She is a Vampire also she is my girlfriend, " Morgan said in a low tone a blush crept on his face...

A laugh comes from the other side,

"Oh, my brother, you are ask8ng me to bring your girlfriend here..." A laugh again came, "Yeah, why not? I would love to meet the girl my brother is with... You can bring her here tomorrow, we will meet at dinner. Don't worry!!! I will arrange a fine dinner for us."

Sapphire said Morgan, can feel his cheerful voice but he also feels a tint of pain, maybe because of Sapphire didn't find his mate yet,

"Thank you brother, she will very happy after listening to this, I will give her a surprise, we will be there at dinner tomorrow. I love you, brother!!!". Morgan said cheerfully, his happiness is felt by his voice,

" I love you too!!! Brother, take care. See you soon." Sapphire said and dropped the connection, Morgan was out of the world, he is so happy after this approval. He arrived at Athena's house to tell this to her but she was deep in sleep, Morgan didn't disturb her...  He slept beside her because he was tired. In the morning, one of his sleuths calls him to meet in the city.

Morgan gets there early in the morning, so he left a note for Athena on his bedside table so she can read it. Morgan wants to see her face when her wish to come true to meet his family. But he has to do important work, now he is going back home to get ready and then pick Athena from her home, so they can get to the Empire...

(Last Night Witch Village)

Sapphire lost his consciousness not bearing the pain,  he opens his eyes after some time, he saw he is in the same place. He is in Margaret Hut, she is sitting on the floor chanting a spell. Her eyes shut a bowl of some liquid is placed beside her, Sapphire made a move... He sat up on the floor, Margaret opened her eyes immediately,

"King, you are awake. Thank Goddess of the moon she listens to our prayers, " Margaret said she moved her head up, thanked their goodness.

Sapphire tried to stand up but the pain was still in there, his all body is aching so bad... He struggled to stand up from his position, took support then stand on his feet, "Margaret what happened? I am feeling the pain, but it is not that much, for how long I was out of consciousness?" Sapphire said in his deep voice the pain is still there, it is evident from his eyes that he is struggling...

" King, you were out for 3 hours, the pain will last till the morning after that it will go away, but in the night you will feel the same. " she sighed deeply, she looks upset

"K8ng, the poison is all in your body, it will cover your heart soon... Why did you do it with yourself? We have to find your mate as soon as possible. I promise I will find your mate soon, till that time... I and my sisters bound you in a spell so the poison slows down from spreading in your body, also we have to call Dimitry. "  Margaret said in worry,

" Okay, old witch, don't get worried too much!!! I will be fine, I am going now. Don't tell anyone about this, I will call father Dimitry, tell me what is the consciousness of the spell?" Sapphire asked a smirked was playing on his lips.

"Son, you can not use your power at night, these are the outcomes of our spell on you..." Margaret told him,

"Okay, old witch, that is not a problem," Sapphire said, he moved out of the Hut, like always he didn't vanish in the air, but he walks towards the forest, all the witches watching their King going out of the village.

Sapphire is heartbroken after knowing that his mate is with someone else, that is the cause of his pain. The poison spreading in his body is the result of the bite on his mate's neck by another man, Sapphire has to cure himself or it will kill him, the cure for this poison is the blood of that man who bit her mate marking place and the bite of his Vampire father, also use have to mark his mate. Sapphire has to cure himself soon otherwise his enemies will know his weakness and they will kill him soon, Sapphire has to find his mate soon...
