QUINN I managed to drag myself out of bed and shower after a while. I was pulling my hair back into some dutch braids when my dad knocked on the door. “Hey, Dad, what’s up?” I asked. “I just wanted to talk to you for a minute,” he said. I nodded, and he came into the room and sat down on the edge of my bed. I was sitting in front of my mirror in the corner, so I turned to face him. “I may have been a little harsh this morning,” he said. “It’s not like you ran away or anything, and I know how it can be to find a trick to help you fall asleep.” All I could do was nod my head.
