MICHAEL Leaving the pack was way more complicated than I originally thought. Thankfully, my mom had the foresight to get our school records before we left, as Tyler and I both needed to be enrolled. The high school principal owed my father a favor, so he was helping to keep Tyler and me a secret for now so Lawrence wouldn’t be hinted at where to find us.
