My eyes were tightly shut as I waited for the man to slap me or blow a fist on my face. But heard nothing. I slowly peeled my eyes open and they widened when they were met with Reth. Holding his wrist mid air. "Reth" I muttered out my voice cracking. My heart swell up with tears. How is it that whenever something is about to happen to me, Reth is at my rescue.
